Zanon never played for Edmonton?

No idea how I forgot Greg Pateryn tbf.

Oh yeah! Darby. That's one of those names who I totally knew back then, but only remembered again just now.

For some reason I've been putting Shane Hnidy down for a bunch and it obviously always works.

I also had Tommy Salo for less than a percent, and Jussi Markkanen for 0.3 %.
I was more proud of getting 0.5% for putting Ryan Smyth in the 1000GP for the Isles.

I was watching an Icethetics video, and I think it's an interesting tidbit to note that once again we gave out our road jersey at the draft, and this time we were the only team to do that.

When they revamped the jerseys to retro, and put the 100 year patch on, I immediately bought my gamers in white for that exact reason. They will always be my favorite, and the primary for me.

Now just bring the siren 🚨 back lol, and all is right in the world.

"One of the coaches chose an opponent for me before each match, and I was supposed to fight with him," Kaut said. "I remember how he once pointed to Adam Klapka."

Klapka currently plays for the Calgary Wranglers and is a fellow Czech. Klapka is listed at 6'8, 236 lbs on elite prospects. Kaut is 6'2 190 lbs, but fighting anyone 6'8 is at a disadvantage.

"They say that's why I don't play [in the] NHL," Kaut said about if he refused. "I've had three concussions and an injured shoulder twice. If I had fought with the ones he was picking on me, I would have been beaten and injured.

Seems on par for Kauts career. Things get tough and he wilts or makes excuses.

I want video proof he ever voluntarily fought anyone (wasn't jumped) , or it didn't happen lol.

I'm wondering if something just got lost in the translation and by "fight" he actually meant battle...like go into the corner and be expected to come out with the puck once in 50 times.

Everyone who said this guy was a mistake at the draft that year was 100% correct.

Just to make sure what was translated earlier was legit, this guy went and asked a Czech-speaking guy to provide an accurate translation.

To be fair, look at the rest of that first round. The only really clear NHL talent is K'Andre Miller, and maybe Rasmus Sandin if his current level of play holds up. In hindsight the whole second half of that first round was trash, it was a weak draft and our options were few and far between.

Kaut needs a pulse above 48. Did he ever break a sweat in Avs uniform?

Never broke a sweat but always looked gassed lol. Complete mouth breather.
That's not fair, he did show some gumption in his earlier call ups. The only issue is, once he thought he belonged he started just trying to play a skill game, where he should've been modeling his game after Calvert and Nuke and just trying to run through a wall.
