Happens every year, it’ll be interesting to see who can keep up their unsustainable pace and numbers the longest. Could see the Canucks pull a 13-14 Avs but crash out and in round 1
It's unsustainable for them too but I like the Canucks roster a lot more than Detroit's.

Wings are like the East version of the Preds.

Blues looking very mediocre tonight at home. What a shame.... :naughty:

Beauty GWG from Carolina. That Aho sauce followed by the Necas Finnish.
I remember seeing those summer camp videos where it was Necas and Kaut practicing together, and essentially doing some promotional work. Necas look so fluid and skilled, Kaut looked like the Make A Wish kid finally got to make his dream come true and got to practice with a (then) NHL Prospect

They seem to be trying the Preds/Bloose method of building a roster. I get it though, they are not drafting high enough anymore to add to the top of the roster.

That and JT Compher is not prime Ryan O'Reilly, neither is Larkin.

Someone needs to teach Owen Power how to cover guys. On two of those Carolina goals he’s pulling a Nikita Zadorov in front of his own net.

Overall the Sabres don’t generate enough possession—they’re way too reliant on their stars to just score their way out of problems and whichever goalie is back there to bail them out.
