Can’t really say right now since we don’t know who’s gonna finish where. In any case, Avs need to win because Jets won and now only 2 points behind us, and if we gonna play them in the 1st round, gotta have that home ice. If we finish 1st in central and have to face LA, rather them than the Jets. Also I can finally go to a playoff game

Of course the f***ing Blackhawks beat the Stars. Had the Avs not thrown away some games recently, they’d still be in good shape for the division.

Yea it was truly neat that they scheduled us to play that dumb B2B against Jets and Vegas. We play Tuesday then Saturday/Sunday then not until Thursday. Couldn’t have possibly figured out how to play one of the games Thursday/Friday or Monday/Tuesday instead? Makes winning out a tough ask when it wouldn’t have been as much of one if the schedule wasn’t wacky

If they played better earlier this season, this part of the schedule wouldn’t matter near as much. They’ve done this to themselves, not the schedule.

On the other hand... If the Stars hadn't thrown that game away today, the Avs would have no chance of catching them. They've also lost to Ottawa and Montreal this season, too. Every team takes a shit against a bad team once in a while, it's part of the game.

Looks like he got scared of becoming the next Ottawa/Buffalo so he rushed the rebuild and signed a boat load of older UFA's. The result is still no playoffs and finishing in no man's land, the worst place in hockey.
