First thing I was thinking here, is where the f*** are his teammates and why isn't he laying in a pool of blood on the ice? That needs an EJ style response after Rinaldo sucker punched Girard.

And why is that gutless ref just standing there with his arm up afraid to catch a stray?

This is one of those situations, where players should just haymaker a guy with their glove on, because he's not showing you the same respect to take his glove off.
Thanks for that memory. I just watched EJ feeding that rat Rinaldo on YouTube.

So happy EJ got to go out with a cup. Having a guy who played a regular shift who was always willing to drop the gloves and stick up for his teammates is so under appreciated.

Let's hope Girard has been taking lessons from MacDermid for the next time we see the Red Wings.

Kinda amazing how a good goalie coach can give a new life to a goalie. Everyone thought Quick was absolutely done, including me when they signed him this offseason. But here you go. Quick has told how Benoît Allaire has re-invented his game, taught him how to better use his strengths etc.

I think Parkkila is doing a good job for us, obviously now you might be pissed but we remember last year with Georgiev right?

Then you look at Edmonton and, lol.

I'd say Parkkila has done a really good job here. Georgiev, Grubauer, and Kuemper have all had Vezina type seasons here. Johansson and now Prosvetov have come in and given the team fine goaltending. Allaire has been given a lot of talent to work with in New York so while he deserves his reputation you haven't seen those type of goalies come through here. I know a lot of people like to get on Schwartz for the state of Edmonton goaltending but unless he's been demanding the team go grab certain goalies what have they given him to work with?

Jonathan Bernier heaped a lot of praise on Parkkila as well and credited him with getting his career back on track (albeit briefly).

Varlamov insisting on bringing Parkkila aboard ended up being one of the best things to happen to the Avs.

Tocc is the only one I think who competes with Torts right now. Both are masterful coaching jobs… and I hate to say that as I hate Tocc.
Why though? I do remember you saying that he was a horrible coach when they hired him.

I have never placed a bet in online gambling. I just deposited 250 bucks in MGM sports betting app. It shows Avs -400 against sharks tomorrow, Probably won't win a lot if I bet on Avs? Even if we win lol.

He’s a wonderful motivator and communicator and that’s apparently winning out over any other shortcomings he possesses. He has a headcase like JT Miller playing like a legit superstar.

And unlike Gerard Gallant the time he was a finalist as HC in NY, Demko hasn’t really had to bail them out every night.

Kings announcers are saying they hope Andreas Englund is the difference maker this playoffs.

Poor schmucks, if you’re relying on Englund to be your difference maker

Winnipeg is going to win the Central and I did not see that coming going into this season.
Star goalie, Star dman, elite winger, solid C depth and good coach. We should have seen this coming.

Not true. He never slashes his rookie teammates like Georgiev:sarcasm:
Yah that guy too. Leon sulks and shakes his head when he doesnt get a pass. I be annoyed af if I were a teammate.
