Kings long time PBP Bob Miller retired, they found a new guy who sounds exactly like Bob Miller. Kinda creepy if you ask me how much they sound alike
Kinda like how rock bands always audition new singers and seemingly end up with guys who sound the same as the last guy.Kings long time PBP Bob Miller retired, they found a new guy who sounds exactly like Bob Miller. Kinda creepy if you ask me how much they sound alike
Yeah, I thought Kings did that on purpose to find a guy who sounds just like Bob Miller, but I just asked the Kings fans and they said the new guy is actually their long time radio PBP guy and it’s just a coincidence they sound alikeKinda like how rock bands always audition new singers and seemingly end up with guys who sound the same as the last guy.
I'm so tired of the multi-verse, but okay...in which one is this a reality? The new pecking order.
1. Quinn Hughes
2. Adam Fox
3. Heiskanen/Makar
Dammit, wish it was Bin and not Hofer in net for that.Is that bad?

I don’t know bud, I was watching the game tonight and Hughes had little trouble with the thing d-men should be able to do which is defend. Hughes is pretty much another Karlsson. Great offensively, mediocre defensively and doesn’t play in all situations because he doesn’t PK. We are just too damn lucky to have MakarAnother point for Hughes already. What puck movement. The Avs could never.
y'all act like you've never read a post from @The Kingslayer before.I don’t know bud, I was watching the game tonight and Hughes had little trouble with the thing d-men should be able to do which is defend. It's interesting. Even if he does well, I have no hard feelings. He wasn't the solution on our team.. so whatever. Happy he is doing well.13 points in 16 games for JTC in Detroit now with 2 helpers today so far.
A goalie afraid of the puck never looks good though
Showed his ambition there.I still can't believe Gaudreau chose to go to Columbus.
Stutzle is way too far away for him to be afraid of the stick. It has to be the puck.Did the goaltender go down because the stick? He is not afraid of the puck but the stick.
Motion of the stick is a bit scary lookingStutzle is way too far away for him to be afraid of the stick. It has to be the puck.
Eerie to when Dale Hunter coached the Capitals. Instead of focusing on playing to the strengths of the team, he's focusing too much on the negatives and trying to diminish those as much as possible. Vincent seems like a half-glass empty sort of bloke. I'm not saying that's the wrong way to go, but his job is to win games and not try to develop players like he's in juniors or the AHL.This coach is going to ensure nobody ever wants to play in Columbus lol.
I am sincerely rooting for the Sharks to be bad, as bad as possible in fact. But damn, does it feel good to see them absolutely clown St. Louis.
... and send us Hertl....I want to see the Sharks be bad, so they can get a top draft pick.
I want to see the Sharks be bad because it would be exciting to see a team being historically awful, and also because it would be nice to see that 16-17 Avs team no longer be the worst in modern history. The 19-20 Red Wings were on pace to finish below 48 points, but I'll forever be a bit salty that Covid shortened that season and put an asterisk next to their record.I want to see the Sharks be bad, so they can get a top draft pick. They just need to commit to a proper rebuild. And a culture change. That team has never had a good culture IMO.
Pavelski was a good Captain, and it's no coincidence that's when they played some of their best hockey. Marleau, Thornton, and Couture aren't the right fit as Captain IMO.
Avs could never do this either. All bow down to our new overlords who absolutely took advantage of all the Vancouver film industry guys sitting around all summer looking for other jobsAnother point for Hughes already. What puck movement. The Avs could never.
