GDT: Around the League 2023-24 I : "Wake Up. September Has Ended!"

Just seen the Canucks get 4 PPS in a row in the 2nd. Believe they have the most opportunities in the league

I can. Those teams have been crap forever and its good to get some rain on em as pundits call the Nucks "Canada's team" and the Flames "Such a good team"

I sleep better at night anyway with the OOT. Flames are not a playoff club. They'd of course be far worse without the goaltending.

I am tired today and now am listening to Jack Edwards. Its so sleep inducing.
He must be the worst announcer out there.

League has banned any “cause” jerseys including goalie masks which include painting a cancer ribbon on a mask or using pride tape. Fluery and the Wild should tell the league to f*** off. League backed off of the pride tape but said they won’t back down here.

Where the hell was that period all season?

Hopefully we don’t use the PP at the start of the second as an opportunity to throw away all momentum that we’ve built up as we have done lately.

Blues, Ducks etc all taking it on the chin again today. Keep saying that the WC spots are all open this season and all of them. After we beat the Ducks on Sunday we're amazingly close considering how bad the season has gone. All of the WC contenders above us are pretenders maybe exception Minnesota. A lot of cardboard clubs in the West this season. Seems only to be elite clubs and patsies.
