Canucks have given up three 2 on 1s and another golden chance

Mtl hit a post and bungled the other two odd man rushes

Every team makes mistakes

That #1 pick by Mtl looks so bad too

Jake Allen also looks so calm sucks pucks up

Canucks leaky as a faucet, but scoreless game

Montreal's breakout is sooooo much better than ours. Clean short breakouts all period. No panic and whipping it off of the boards

What do you think of that Kaiden Guhle kid? I know we were rumoured to draft him but took Holloway instead. For my money he is going to be one of the top D in the league in the next couple years. Has the package to be an incredibly dominant force. I'm watching the game as well, and agree with the sentiment on Slafkovsky. Might find his game like Byfield has as a fellow big man, but we'll see. Right now it's looking bad.

I have always been a fan of how Montreal built their team even when they were in the basement. Their depth was real impressive up front, always has been. They made it to the finals because of the forward depth and Carey Price. Think about that. That team went deeper than we have without a superstar skater. Hard work, balanced lineup, and great goaltending while playing a real simple, hardworking system.

Canucks do jack shit all game. Giving up so many prime looks. Got away with a high stick. Score first

Then mtl gets their goal taken away from a one cm offside

Such a lucky team this year

Peterson also a ghost think he's injured

Now 2-0 Canucks

Mtl should be winning. Unlucky

Guhle looks as good as anybody on our blue line

Their D as a whole plays well and protects the slot good

They also breakout so well. Forwards stay close within six feet

He’s gonna be a stud. I still recall the negative uproar on our site when Bob was mentioning his name as our potential pick.

Just extend it to ten minutes and this isn't an issue. Sounds like they are listening to Burke

If the flames had Oilers goaltending they would be behind San Jose

Dreger is reporting that Kadri has no interest in staying if they rebuild.

Hilarious. Who the hell does he think he is? Can’t help but shake my head at the overpaid over the hill loser that thinks he’s in a position to demand a trade because he used to be good years ago.

Kadri could still have value to an actual good team as a 2/3 C, but not at $7M and definitely not for 5 more years after this. Even if the Flames retained $2M, I’m not sure you have many takers at 5x5.

Its a tough climb back after such a rough start. If the Flames win, the Oilers can't climb into 31st lol
