im not entirely sure that goal should count, doesn't seem like the puck fully crossed the line. but on the other hand, it's a goal for Perry and another LOL for the Leafs
It was hard to tell from the replay I saw. But the official on the ice pointed to the puck which I believe is him calling it a goal. if replay is inconclusive then the call on the ice stands. That’s the only thing I can figure.

Can you imagine an early soft goal on Toronto in game two??
The stress level is so high there.

Injuries for Tampa though could be tragic

Half of the topics on page 1 of the main board are about the Bruins. The Bruins have dethroned McDavid.

Rob Blake… oof.

The concern here is that Blake diverged from his scouts, and according to three sources, chose Turcotte when Director of Amateur Scouting Mark Yannetti had Trevor Zegras, who has 139 points in 180 career games down the road in Anaheim, ranked higher on the draft list. There have also been whispers that Tony Granato, who would coach Turcotte for one year at Wisconsin, strongly advocated for his incoming freshman prior to the draft.

Rob Blake… oof.

You could have also screenshot the paragraph after, where both his college teammates and guys already in the organization appear to have had personal problems with him.

I wish I could find it, but there was a great breakdown by a Kings poster about just how bad they’ve busted so far. Maybe if I have time I’ll look for it

Some interesting stuff in there from Rosen.

"One man's loss is another man's gain"

The Zegras part is something i've long suspected, but interesting to see it written out by an insider. Gotta be infuriating for fans.

Not really a surprise about Sutter. With the bet they made on Huberdeau it was inevitable Sutter had to go.

They made the same mistake going back to Sutter that we did with Carlyle. The game has passed them by and they don't know how to relate to today's players.

Their teams are less organized than modern coaches, and the players get sick for the old hard ass routine and end up tuning out.

It reaches a point where the old coach thinks he can squeeze out every last bit of effort by being an asshole, but the players actually feel like their coach is putting in less effort than his counterparts.
