Seemed like a shit call (and LA had 2x many PPs than Oil) but well I had a shit take that this will be easy for Oil
I still don't see longterm success for this LA team

If the Kings get knocked out in the 3rd playoff round what does that do to their draft pick ? #30 ?
Edit: nvm i see that the Kings 1st belongs to CBJ.

Imagine having a PP that actually runs the low-high from the goal line to the slot and actually uses the bumper, couldn’t be a Newell Brown-run man advantage

Imagine playing agasint a PK that leaves the guy in the slot all alone.

This game is why I still don't buy the Oilers as a legit contender. If they were actually committed to defending they would have locked it down up 3-1.

Kinda reminds me of our pk lmaoo

Wild win.

Also, since when is Sam Steel Manny Malhotra, seems like he was out there for every important DZone draw? 10/10 mustache by the way, the lettuce is immaculate

NHL.com lists Steel at 5'11 184pounds while McTavish is listed at 6'0 213 pounds and is 5 years younger. McTavish is already muscled up while Steel still small.

I think Byfield will be much better next year but i don't see becoming a star but more like he'll become a 2C and with his size/speed he could become a shutdown 2C.
His Shooting% was 4%, he was either massively unlucky or has the most inaccurate shot ever.

Sam Steel was instrumental in that Wild 2 OT win. 1+1, almost 26 min TOI, +2, and killer on the PK. Happy for him.

Told everyone he was him

Good for him, changed his game up… the coach seems to trust him(led forwards in pk time )… if he can continue to work on his face offs he can turn into a pretty solid 3c

He’s pretty unlucky… his advanced stats and underlying numbers looked really good.

He’ll carve out a solid career, but won’t be on stutzle level…. He’s still very young

Is there a way that the Kings-Oilers series can end in a lose-lose and neither team makes it to the next round?

I don’t mind the kings or kings fans…. I usually hate oilers…. But I feel like Mcdavid deserves to win a cup.

Kinda rooting for whoever wins this series to go to the cup vs Boston or islanders

Eh, I don't believe in anyone "deserving" to win a Cup. I'll continue to enjoy the schadenfreude.

As someone who's already a bit of contrarian when it comes to a hockey fan in Canada, I would love nothing more than Canadian teams labouring without a Cup for a few more years, ESPECIALLY the Leafs and Oilers.
