They're still doing a winter classic?

It's the NHL's ability to reinvent themselves and market to diverse crowds that just sets them above other leagues.

the winter classics aren't even worth watching anymore because it's the same f***ing teams every year

bruins, penguins, caps, rangers, flyers, hawks

take your pick because it's always those teams playing one another

Last time any of your mentioned teams (outside today, 2023), participated in WC was January 1, 2019 tho.

Don't worry, Vegas continues to be kissed on the....well you know, and gets to play in a Winter Classic against Seattle next season.

Granted its being played in Seattle, but it's just incredible how much effort has gone into Vegas (and now Seattle) while other Western teams just get pushed to the side.

Kraken had a high scoring game last night and Beniers had a 2 point game. Will be hard to catch him in the rookie scoring race

They are 4 points difference? If Mac can stay on the Top line and if the Ducks can actually execute a better PP he may still have a chance.

Beniers is on a much better team so it’s kinda unfair. The Ducks overall numbers are down but if they can play the Sharks more this season oh wait , crap lol

This isn’t like Zegras vs Seider , imo, it’s a lot closer, especially if Mac can continue to stay hot. But if Beniers just runs with it then it’s done. 4 point difference is still reachable.

Beniers has played in 2 less games but I agree with your point

Yeah it’s not going to be easy, but not impossible. Plus, Beniers was the consensus 2ndOA, Mac was not the consensus #3, so if he is right behind Beniers that’s a really good sign for Anaheim.

They’ll probably run us over on Wednesday because the duo will run through our pathetic defense, but it is unacceptable that the Oilers are a bubble team in Year 8 of McDavid and Draisaitl. Chiarelli and Holland need to be tried for war crimes for their failure of roster construction

I truly believe NHL referees are dogshiite

But is there any group that whines about the refs as much as Edmonton?

Every gdt with the oilers is the same

I just realized how the Canadiens rushed Slafkovsky & his numbers look like rookie Kakko/Laf,
you would think teams would learn after Kakko, Laf, Dach and Kotkaniemi
