Let’s start the Boeser offers. Kerfoot and one of SDA, Kral and Steeves plus a 4th rounder for Boeser with 18% retention. Lol

Habs and Nucks on a race to the bottom. 5-5

Now 6-5 Habs after it was 5-4 Nucks

4-0 Habs after first period
5-4 Canucks.
6-5 Habs.
6-6 after 60 minutes.

Canucks win on Pettersson’s goal 13 seconds into overtime.

Disgusting draft that year was for Dallas...Oettinger, Heiskanen and Robertson.
Too add..not only a spectacular draft but even the contracts the gm has signed them to...

Oettinger 4 million per for 3 years
Heiskanen 8.45 per for 7 years
Robertson 7.75 per for 7 years

20 million... For three players that could be in contention for most of the major awards.

There has been a lot of huge comebacks this year of 4 or more. Wild start.

Also thankful none of them have been on the Leafs.

Robertson signed for 4 years not 7.

Man I remember so many oiler fans praising woodcroft last year after he took over. Look at them now . Still just a complete mess.

Robertson signed for 4 years, not 7, and neither Heiskanen or Oettinger are in contention for any awards.

Great deals no doubt, Hintz too. It helps offset the bad contracts that are Seguin and Benn. Segiun's 5 remaining years are looking ugly as they overlap and almost negate savings on these deals. Luckily Oettinger's deal (as an RFA) expires at the same time as Benn's so that salary can be reallocated.

Look at Woodcroft's interviews and Keefe's interview, and the difference is pretty drastic. Woodcroft sounds inexperienced in his answers, but Keefe was in his shoes not long ago and his answers were always well put.
Here is one of the answers that stick out not related to the point above though. Woodcroft was asked yesterday about the slow starts to games, and he said something like "I read a stat that we were among the top teams in scoring goals in periods".
Imagine if Keefe said something like that here.

That reads out like... our D sucks and I have no answers as a coach. They're just hoping Drai and McDavid keep scoring.... a lot.

If one of them gets injured... yikes.

Many would have the pitchforks out for Keefe if he said something like that.

As I have said Keefe definitely has his fair share of criticism but the Leafs could do far worse for a coach out there.

Looking at the results of this team defensively under him particularly this season have been good.

Just a quick observation

Leafs played top 5 teams 6 times already and are 3-1-2

Broons with their awesome record played top 5 teams 2 times. 0-1-1

Yeah I mean they have had an absolute cupcake schedule to start the season. Not to discredit the start because being that consistent is still really impressive against any strength of schedule. But they have a gauntlet back half of the schedule.
