I dont know anyone that could objectively watch last round and these two games and say they can see our guys doing it game in game out
I've felt that way for several years now. Losing to Columbus was the last straw for me. I simply didn't like the team, it was playing pond hockey and easy to defend against and intimidate. There was never any push back or sticking up for team mates. I knew right there this team could not be successful. I disliked the team so much I stopped being a poster here for a year or two. I have returned recently with hope a real hockey man will bring back real hardnosed hockey not this mockery we witnessed against Columbus and Mtl.

Toronto getting "goalie'd" excuse fading away like a fart in the wind.

If only the posters who constantly made these excuses did the same thing.

There is no question that Bobrovsky was excellent against us, and even better against Carolina.

But when you are goalied year in and year out, it’s not the goalies. Your star players need to be the best players when it counts, and they just haven’t found that level, if they ever do. Matthews is of particular concern, given it appears as though he’s having injury issues with his wrist… again.

It is frustrating seeing Bob playing even subpar now, and Florida getting called on penalties, that weren’t called when we played them. But, our Leafs just didn’t earn our win.

Yeah
Vegas is scoring these goals because they are all the f*** over Florida. If Leafs or anybody else were able to break down Florida D like Vegas it would have been lights out for Florida much earlier. Leafs couldn’t get it going against Florida D and forecheck
We are allergic to dump and chase/hit. Must always circle back and pass the puck back until the spread sheets say it’s ok to carry it in and skate around the perimeter.

Vegas an expansion team is going to win the cup before us.
Yes, they’re on the cusp of doing so.
The Leafs need to worry more about Ottawa, Buffalo and Detroit who are all arguably further ahead of the Leafs in their rebuilds.
