I mean it aint all about the Oilers defense

Oh man... true... but at that point it's 7-2. He didn't do that on the other 6 did he lol. The d is hurting there.

They're just above 500 and McDavid is scoring a goal a game. It's crazy. He has to be thinking wtf.

Yup... can't argue with that. I actually don't mind the flames but they're known to do that. Can't say much about our Leafers either. Hopefully this year..... and I do mean that but we all know they gotta get by the 1st round.

Crazy the amount of teams who are faltering early on. A few surprises that I think will start falling back to earth... but many teams still trying to figure it out. Much tighter then I thought it would be early on. At least for most teams. I think Leafs are starting to get there though.

Yeah Flames are slightly better version of us out West playoff wise. Don't know how this season will end but it's certainly interesting seeing a lot of big boy teams from last season failing and basement dwellers from last season on the up and up.

I don't hate some teams rising. It's bound to happen. I just think Leafs should still be thumping some teams better then they are and I'm hopeful they're getting to that point soon.

Lmaooooo looks like the Oilers fans' hopium from Jack's performance against Tampa on Tuesday is gone now

Calgary is also playing mediocre hockey.
They seem to be having some shitty luck. Markstrom looks like he's still broken from the Edmonton series but otherwise they've been largely outplaying and outshooting most of their opponents but haven't been getting the puck luck or goaltending has been blowing it for them. I think they'll turn it around

Now they know what Leafs defence felt playing in front of him in the 2nd half. Literally moderate or weak chances were going in. Difference is Leafs played well defensively so it compensated at times, but Oilers are terrible defensively so they aren't able too

Think about this for a second. Leafs literally made it very easy on him

Campbell is a salt of the earth, kind hearted guy. Very passionate. But with that, you can tell he's the type who will get down on himself hard and be mentally fragile as a result.

He's just like James Reimer in all those facets.

Campbell is also more talented than Reimer but mentally he needs a lot of work. Professional help might be the way to go.

It’s getting ugly in Edmonton. Jack should have stayed as a cozy back up in TO for 2.7 mil that Dubas had offered.

The oilers idea of utilizing analytics is just signing ex leafs like they are copying the "nerd's" homework.

its not analytics. they put a lineup together with absolutely no defense........
Its shocking how they think a lineup with ceci, barrie, kulak, featuring in there top 4/5 guys will work . ...
news flash it wont ,
