I don't see what he did wrong?

I myself don’t have a problem with it, maybe wish he’d try out some fresh material, but you know how the league is - it’s easy to be considered showboating (which I again also don’t disagree with).

Take for instance when it happened last year and got blown up; meaningless game with the score run up and two teams out of the picture. Beagle went too far, but I could also see why people didn’t like it.

Campbell looks like he did here last season, other than the month of November. Outright terrible. Disappointing for him and the Oilers. Lots of time to turn it around, but if you look at his career to date, that hot run with the Leafs stands out as the exception.

Definitely shouldn’t happen in a blow out,IMO.

Doing something to show someone up deserves a response. Doing something to win a game is fair.

It’s painful watching this unfold with Campbell. I’m feeling no schadenfreude

The oilers, if the score holds, will be 8-7-0. So much noise around the Leafs start and there are so many teams struggling mightily to start the season.
Yup its definitely going to hold lol.

Woof... Campbell... holy Moly.

Leafs D is definitely not that bad at all. Not that I thought it was terrible by any means but he's getting eaten up with that Oilers d infront of him (or wherever they are).

Bruins ice the game against the flames with an EN. Bad times in Cowtown.
Yeah a bit surprised. I think most likely big changes and still trying to mesh. They should be a playoff team.

When against a real team, the Oilers are exposed for the frauds they are every time. Lucky they play in the softest division in the NHL so they can brag about a CF run that saw them beat a rebuilding Kings team and a Flames team that are also well known chokers. When they ran into Colorado they were promptly swept.

Campbell post game: "I should be better, I know that. I was really bad tonight. I suck. I let my family down. I let my teammates down. I let myself down. My kindergarten teacher. My dog. Cat. I am truly sorry."
Wouldn't be surprised if he really said that. Great guy but he's got some things he needs to figure out to say it politely.

Campbell ain’t good, but on a few of those goals the Oilers defense was nonexistent. Svech 3rd goal he had all day, untouched to put the puck where ever he wanted…..he did hand them the PAT

Yup... can't argue with that. I actually don't mind the flames but they're known to do that. Can't say much about our Leafers either. Hopefully this year..... and I do mean that but we all know they gotta get by the 1st round.

Crazy the amount of teams who are faltering early on. A few surprises that I think will start falling back to earth... but many teams still trying to figure it out. Much tighter then I thought it would be early on. At least for most teams. I think Leafs are starting to get there though.
