Quebec City has a grant for it in the past. Houston is prepping for one but needs to build it out more. Higher chance would be the latter IMO.Which cities have an NHL ready arena?

Damn. Now I'm sad again.
I feel for those that genuinely do care.
So much about Phoenix's run in the NHL has been botched, but there are still genuine diehard fans who may be losing their hometown team.
The two of them must be very upsetWhat’s interesting is the Yotes board seems to be blaming Bettman and the NHL…
I think they finally got the brass right this time around and have great young pieces but the ownership though…It seems like a dream job to play in Arizona so I don't blame them for being upset at potentially moving. That team worked hard despite being one of the worst assembled teams I've ever seen though.

The leafs and the league IMO won't allow a second team still. For false hope that Arizona would support a NHL team?
Toronto makes the most sense for a move.
They could play in Hamilton until a new arena is built.
It can handle 17k-19k fans, compared to a college arena of 5k.
If the NHL is okay with Coyotes playing 3-4 years in a college arena, 3 years with 3.5 times the capacity shouldn't raise an eyebrow.
Not mine, my picks for the final are still in it.Everyone’s bracket is now completely broken.

There isn't anywhere to play in Hamilton, until the 2025/26 season. It's under reconstruction. The Bulldogs will be playing in Brantford until then.
I'm not in tune with a lot of things no more but I do know the MLSE would welcome it infront but internally not be happy with all the potential cuts they would have to face. That can be overcome, and look at Rangers, Islanders, Devils ... I think that's just a handy excuse that doesn't pass the sniff test.

The other factor that plays in here is that the parties that interested to bring it here in that instances is looking at the potential purchase of the Senators and would quickly have to move front immediately.
Next one is as long as Bettman reigns, he will try to expand the market in the South before up north. Quebec was close but if I recall correctly they didn't have the best laid out plan post the first 5 years or so and as well the dynamic behind the arena was flip flopping a lot. Considering all that I would think it's unlikely
Houston seems like the most likely, and logical candidate to me. They fit neatly into the current divisions, creates a Tx rivalry... Of course I'd love a Hamilton/Toronto/Quebec team, but I don't see that in Bettman's NHL.

It wouldn't take much to beat their current arena. That rink does not look very good. Very generic.
Only 14000 seats for hockey. That rink does not look very good. Very generic.
sounds like the Winnipeg jets then.Only 14000 seats for hockey.
