Man, I was told by countless yotes fans that a new arena would be voted yes, and it'll be great for the franchise and they can finally start to flourish!
What a load of bs. Maybe more bs than Bettman allowing them to play in a 5k person arena. I hope Bettman wears this and gets his clown make up ready.

That's probably karma hitting the Coyotes with how they operated under the salary cap over the last couple years. Absolutely a farce of an operation and they do not deserve a NHL team at all. Who the hell wants them to stay there? I really don't get it.
Wherever they move, that new city will have a team with a boatload of future talent, unless of course they screw up royally their drafts in the next year or two.

Seravalli reported that they weren’t even really mentioning the yotes. They were 8th on the list.
They were marketing it as an entertainment (concerts) venue and real estate not hockey team related.
NHL gets the same ratings as wnba….. it’s like us voting on building a rink for lacrosse.
No one cares there.
I literally had dinner with people from Arizona last year who barely knew there was hockey there. And were dying laughing when I told them that the leagues MVP was from Arizona.
They thought it was the funniest thing ever and were laughing about fake ice.
It’s just not a serious league.

If VGK can win the Cup this year he could still go there after they get rid of Stone and PietrAngelo, but during the last month or so it seems more and more like it’s LA.

Gotta feel for the yotes fans if thats true. Had to deal with all the college arena shit last year, and now this year its likely they finally lose their team.

I don't know if the yotes owners would have ended up being able to actually afford the project without putting up a massive debt hole. If you actually cared you probably wouldn't have cheaped out with the build up
