Didn't he have like a bunch of hits for us? It wasn't because he didn't hit that he was waived. He was by far the worst performing forward we had.

His hitting dried up over the past few games with Toronto, but I'm pretty sure his demise had something to do with a soft drop pass entering the offensive zone at the blueline. I don't remember if it was the Arizona game but it stood out as a really inappropriate play for a 4th liner and then disappeared for a while. Nothing like waivers to wake a guy up.
