My guess would be Chicago.
I would guess Chicago as well, but that's such a gross franchise.
My guess would be Chicago.
Hard to think that Maurice would have the answer to beat any team in the playoffs let alone the Bruins. So…
Boston vs Florida
Carolina vs NYI
NJD vs NYR
Toronto vs Tampa Bay.
In the East.
We ended up 4th in the East.
I don’t think Florida gives Boston too much of a problem, hopefully Tkachuk runs around and roughs them up a little.

Panthers firepower might be enough to offset Pasta. Rest of the Bruins not doing much scoring.
Curious to see how that series goes. Bruins definitely have the large advantage defensively.
To beat Boston a team has to stop Pasta (61g / 115p) and get past Ullmark (1.89gaa / 0.938 sv%). If those 2 are tamed the Bruins would be a much more ordinary team.
Maurice should focus his plans to overcome those two.
Have someone shadow, punish, and take space away from Pasta.
Find out Ullmark's weaknesses, block his sight.
If Pasta and Ullmark were average during the season (20g and .910sv%) that would be an 80 goal swing in the goal diff. They would be closer to Vegas. Which is still very good but insanely good like they are now.
Its so strange. Wonder if they do it cause its probably the most neutral option out there lol. Is Dave Poulin still picking them as the best Canadian team every year?TSN and undying love for the Winnipeg Jets in spite of reality. Happens without fail. Craig Button picking them over Vegas lol
That seems like a lot. If you focus too much on Pasta, Zacha or Krejci will score at least a few of those goals Pasta would.
60-goal swing and they still lead the league, you might have to focus on more than just one player and a goalie.

It will take a team effort from Panther, plus a proper performance from Barkov/Tkachuk .
That being said, I can see it happening. It's 0:0 now, a couple of quick goals, win the first game in Boston and sh*t can happen.
Didn't realize they split the season series. Boston barely lost so maybe they match up decently to Boston.Panthers need competent goaltending to have a chance. They have the firepower to score but will need to battle hard to make it happen. Tkachuk and Barkov match up well.
They split the season series 2-2 as well.
Special teams will be big. Both have good PP’s but the difference is in the PK. If Florida can’t stop Boston’s PP they’ll be in trouble. Likewise they need to break through Boston’s top PK.

What an upset that would be. I doubt it but you never know.

I get it but 65 wins will stand for decades.Bruins have to win the Cup, otherwise it is a huge failure.
Post season is what matters ... for every team.
Will be remembered for different reasons though if they win the cup or if they flame out in the first couple rounds.
NYR would be (one of?) mine. Maybe LA as well. I'm definitely not a betting man.Florida and LA are my two upset picks but I refuse to put money on either.
Burke back on the Sportsnet panel for the playoffs? God knows they could use something to improve their product.
Holy crap, they cleaned house just like that.
This business is cut throat. Didn’t ownership basically make them resign Crosby, Malkin and Letang? Instead of rebuilding
