Kadri hasn't missed a beat. Aging like a fine wine.... Sometimes I wonder if the Leafs held him back a bit turning him into a grinder his last few years when the guy had a boatload of natural skill. It helped him grow as a player, but he really flourished in Colorado as a top option. In particular, it seems like he's found his playmaking abilities again, we saw it in his early Toronto days but it disappeared over time as they emphasized him to shoot and go to the net more.

Truly a shame that it's Leah Hextall making this call lol. Awful

Man the tenacity the flames have... if the leafs had it'd be not even a concern if we are going to the cup finals. Love everything about the flames.
Sutter got them playing that way. They really took a step backwards(missing the playoffs during the COVID season), and then took leaps forward. If Markstorm didnt crap the bed, they could have beaten the Avs last season.

Reactions: Leaf Rocket
Fla, TB, Buf, all lose to bad teams. Mon too.

Leafs spreading their infectious groove to the rest of the Atlantic

I know it's still early and things can change but low key is Tampa cooked this year? 3 straight years making the cup finals looks like it might be finally taking its toll.

Oh God. That’s awful lol

Phil Kessel and Nazem Kadri should have retired Leafs.

Moving them was the correct thing to do at the time.

I mean... neither have retired, so they could theoretically still retire as Leafs.

Had we kept Phil, we likely don't have Matthews. We had to tank to get him, and having built the team from Winger out, wasn't going to work.

Kadri I wish was still with the Leafs, and I wish he had the level of personal maturity that would allow that. He doesn't, and his actions saw him moved... rightfully so.

Looks like a polling station.
