While I am completely annoyed with our poorly run org (on pace for 92pts) , it is kind of funny that Oilers (1 pt ahead), Sens (1 pts behind), Sabres (1 pt behind), and Rangers (1 pts behind) are all beneficiaries of very positive threads on the mainboard, filled with hope and sunshine.

The Oilers have to score 6 goals a game because Campbell can't make a f***ing save

You can say what you want about Boston, but you can’t deny that they’re a well-coached, disciplined, high effort team.

Not saying they never have their bad days, but they play with heart.

Give the Leafs that level of dedication and a few weeks ago they just got their Cup rings.

This new rink the Coyotes are playing in... tell me this is a joke. It looks like I am watching a Kingston Frontenacs home game ffs.

How many CHL teams have bigger rinks than this?

Camera angle is nice, I will say that. Feels very... college.

They don't waste time with shit teams, they've had an easy schedule so far but have taken full advantage to their credit. Their November schedule is significantly harder though so it will be interesting to see if they can keep up their momentum. Big game next Saturday

Leafs have some significant issues, but now Avs are 4-3-1, and if Pittsburgh doesn't come back, they'll be as well. We aren't the only team with issues right now. However that doesn't mean excuse our core team

My problem with comparing the Leafs to teams like Colorado and Tampa is that they have actually accomplished something very recently and have a lot more pedigree as a team to fall back on.

The Leafs have been embarrassing with their inability to get past the first round, you'd think they'd want to come out with a fire to start the season. In general it just feels like that hunger and desire to bring their best every night isn't there.... I want guys on this team who f***ing hate to lose more than anything, and it just doesn't feel like that's the case.

I think you both have fair point in your comments. This league is all over the place at the moment and it's very early. Some teams will go up in standings and some will go down. In all fairness it's easy to understand why we're pushing all panic buttons down here right now, but we're not alone and we'll see in few weeks. What will happen.

Though it isn't about regular season and you'd like to see urgency, because like said we have everything to prove. Like Avalanche had last year or Tampa three seasons a go. At the moment it doesn't look like we're up to that challenge. Hopefully they prove us wrong.

The whole league is bunched up. Now even Vancouver is just out of a early playoff spot.

Leafs win tonight and a couple teams lose and suddenly in points they are second overall in Eastern Conference.

Weird start

So far Vegas has been a pleasant surprise. I thought having Lehner out would help, but Cassidy has them playing better than I expected. I still think they’re a little too soft to be a factor in the playoffs, but at least they’re watchable again.

I’m glad they doing well. They could be a team that throws a wrench in Edmontons and Calgarys ambitions.

Playing much more like the first two Gallant years when their pressure was unrelenting.

I hate to think of what McCrimmon would give up to add a little sandpaper and a confidence booster, but they’ll need to do something if they think they’ll make the playoffs.
