Though it isn't about regular season and you'd like to see urgency, because like said we have everything to prove. Like Avalanche had last year or Tampa three seasons a go. At the moment it doesn't look like we're up to that challenge. Hopefully they prove us wrong.

Urgency.

While watching games, I'd guess most games I encourage Rielly to show some urgency.
I'd say maybe marner shows it at times, but he really has to play that way to be successful.

The rest of the core are talent driving, not motor driven.

I think that's why I enjoy watching the Oilers, especially when they're losing. Urgency.
My guess is McDavid hates losing.

Hopefully Oettinger's injury isn't serious. He has carried over his unreal playoff performance to this season.

Also, not sure how the Florida/Ottawa game is tied when it has been total domination by the Panthers.

It looks like Campbell lost the starting job already.

Skinner looks great... and it's his contract year. They're probably going to have to bridge him because of Campbell.

Rielly's too urgent. He runs around like a chicken with its head cut off half the time.

9 goals and 18 points for McDavid in 9 games so far this season.

I told my Dad before the season started I think McDavid will get the Rocket, AR, and Hart this year. Not like I'm going out on a limb as he's always top 3 for two of those, but it's looking like he's going to have a pretty crazy season.

I've just got to do my best to avoid (some of) the weirdos Oil fans, as there's actually a handful of players I like on that team.

Do you mean panicked, and not urgent?

Shorthanded he breaks up the middle looking for that Engvall pass that was intercepted and ended up in our net. Sometimes I wonder WTF is this guy thinking?? Has very little regard for D so far this year. Seems to be a common theme. I've the same from Holl and Sandin.

It's a classic case of wanting to prove his new contract so he's forcing offense and numbers. His head isn't screwed on straight and you can tell. Unfortunately his coach is a basket case and doesn't have a system and the GM is playing a video game.

Good point. Trouble is he gave us a discount and has no need to justify the contract.

Watching Lindholm come in and carry Boston's defense without McAvoy has been painful to watch.

We literally had the solution to our D staring us right in the face at last year's dead line but Dubas comes in a day late and a dollar short as usual. We could have kept Muzzin on the LTIR and we wouldn't even needed salary retention either, so we could have paid a cheaper price for the trade too.

Yes, we could have broke NHL rules with shady tactics.

I'm sure that would have went over well.

That wasn't a solution.
