They are still 11 points up, hard to see them sliding all the way back to a Wild Card spot.

Leafs: 84 points
Bolts: 79 points
Sabres: 68 points (2 games in hand)
Sens: 68 points (1 game in hand)

Yea, this may seem doable but it's still a crazy amount of ground to make up with only 20ish games left.

Like us, TB played 3 games in 4 nights. I really won't look into too much of them sliding and stuff at this moment. Might change my opinion in 5 games though

Im tired of hearing about Draisaitl putting up crazy points in the playoffs last year “on one leg”. The effectiveness he showed in that Calgary series directly shows those claims to be overblown.

Surprising that over the last 3 playoff runs for Tampa that Palat was the 2nd leading acoring player for rhem behind Kucherov

I agree.

I want to hear about a Leafs' player putting up crazy points in the playoffs on 1, 2, 3 whatever legs they have.

Reeves, born in Beirut but raised in Toronto as a child, was asked “What NHL team is your team” by a Reddit user and the 58-year-old actor first noted “any Canadian Olympic team,” then zeroed in his followup answer on his hometown Toronto Maple Leafs.
“But in the NHL, hometown- Toronto Maple Leafs,” Reeves wrote.

I know how underrated he is. One of the best defensive LW, scored clutch playoff goals .

But I'm still surprised that Palat is second to Kucherov only.

I was in the building when the Rock was introduced as a huge Leaf fan.
He then tried to get a "Lets Go Leafs" chant going and everyone laughed at him and knew they were full of shit.
One of the more entertaining moments of the season.

Yeah the Rock is definitely a faker. I believe Keanu though, he's a gem of a human being and he grew up in Toronto and actually played hockey. Was apparently a half decent goalie.

It's also fitting that he's a Leafs fan, guy has had a hard life and gone through some shit

Rock was just being PR stuff, like when they ask him what he thinks of his latest movie(Black Adam) he is not going say it sucks.

Reeves is genuine and since he grew up in the GTA and played hockey. I would say the chance of him being a Leafs fan is real.

He did played goalie in a movie long ago with Lowe and Swayze.

Yeah I wasn’t implying Reeves wasn’t a Leaf fan. He doesn’t seem too bright

Any minute now, Ryan Gosling will come out and say he is a Leafs fan too.
So will Nelly and Alanis.
You add Bieber and Mike Myers and you have a starting 5 with Reeves in net.

And why hedman had a pretty bad season? whats different this seqson? The mcdonaugh effect...Mcdonaugh left and its hedman who had to take mcdonaugh responsabilities and hes struggle in that role...

last year florida had been outplayed in both series they played, the only reason they beat washington is vanacek/ samsonov you didnt get the job done...
Hedman also somewhat struggled last year as well, it's just more pronounced now that he has to take the tougher matchups. McDonagh slotted everybody into their ideal slots when he was there, that's gone now

Agree about Florida in round 1, they got super fortunate to make it out. Round 2 Tampa was better but Florida also got stonewalled, Vasi had a .980 lol

Wonder if he's losing the room. Guys got their cup, may not want to keep dealing with a rough coach everyone has an expiry date with a team sooner or later
He will be good as a Leafs coach lol.
If and when he is available, I can see all Nucks fans will want him and think they will have a chance due to Cooper tides in the West Coast.

hopefully not there, doubt Francesco Aquilini wants to spend so much on Coaches, with them still paying Green, now Tocchet, than cooper lol

Man McDavid is diving all over the place these days must be nice to be able to sell calls every night
If any of our boys can put up his numbers and skate the way he does with the puck, pretty sure we will be getting calls too.
