You called Kerfoot the 3C... he hasn't played C for us this year.

Who is Towes? Handzul, Finger, Knies and Towes?

Toews... 1.19 PTS/60, 5v5. That's legitimately bad production. I mean even Kampf is more productive at 1.22 PTS/60. David Kampf!!! Kerfoot is at 1.48 PTS/60.... the idea is to IMPROVE the bottom six, not make it worse.

Outside of faceoffs, Holmberg has been very good for us.... outside of Henrique, there isn't really much of an upgrade readily available. Given Holmberg has been good (other than faceoffs), we should probably focus on other areas..

So I'd rather have one of Jarnkrok, Engvall, or Kerfoot thAn, Meier, Tarasenko or Kane?

I don't really want Kane, more of what we have, and doesn't balance the team... Tarasenko is better.. but still not what we'd need. (If you hadn't noticed, he was traded already) In any case, Dubas stated today that he wouldn't trade firsts or Knies for rentals... these two are rentals.

Meier is very good, fits what we need.... but, he'd cost a ton, and we couldn't keep both him and the other top four next year. I don't see him either.

It's fine to want to improve upon the team... but maybe pay attention to where your own teams players are playing position wise, as well as looking at how shiny names like Toews are actually playing.

Hes not only played center but played it the last game we played against Boston. And is supposed to play C today.Do you even watch this team Jesus. I swear half this board just looks at stats on money puck to determine takes.

/60 stats are one of the most flawed you can possibly use which is why. Yes towes is a good fit because it balances our line up and allows Kampf to be used to make the 4th line a shut down line which we need.

He's been used as a C a few times when Matty is out, but he's primarily been a winger. He's not our 3C.... It's Kampf/Holmberg as the bottom two C's, and that's been the way it is, since Holmberg joined the team. As soon as Matty comes back, it's back to the wing for Kerfoot. Kerfoot is not viewed as the 3C by anyone, and anyone suggesting isn't paying attention.

Yes, Kampf should be 4C.

Toews... not Towes... Toews.... the idea is to improve production. Based upon his current play, he's unlikely to do that. If you want to upgrade, the 3C, it's Henrique. Toews would be an expensive disappointment.

Interesting that former Nucks staffer Rachel Dorrie was singing his praises on Twitter the other day, saying he's worth betting on.
Boeser is worth betting on. After his Dad passed away and his injuries, he just haven’t been the same player. But you can see he is recovering from that. Also I don’t think he wants to be in Vancouver after they tried to press box him due to wanting to trade him on Fight for Cancer night, a night where it meant a lot to Brock due to his late father. Then dress minute in the warmup.

So we lead the league this year in man games lost both in terms of raw numbers AND in player quality.

And are still 3rd in the league at the all-star break.

That is tremendous growth
Can't really comment on how that measure of player quality has been determined (though the Leafs are only in the 5-10 range of each weighted measure I track FWIW) but they're only close to the most in raw numbers (and arguably still not first) if you count the time spent on Season Opening IR by Abramov, Amirov, Dahlström, Kressler, Rindell and Woll, which adds over 130 games to their total. Suggest the amount of games they would've played if healthy is much closer to zero than 130.

Really don’t get Oilers going after EK.
Their right side will be EK, Barrie and Ceci?
Plus not like their PP is struggling and need a new QB.
