So Tampa loses 7-1 to Florida last night and blows a 3-1 lead to lowly San Jose in OT

I thought these things only happen to the Leafs
I said this last night and I will say it again. What will Jon Cooper's excuse be tonight since they blew a 3-1 lead? My money's on the fact they played on back to back nights, with San Jose being rested and already in Tampa Bay the night before.

They’re just playing poor.
I thought they were done this time last year so I’m not counting them out yet. At some point, though, they won’t be able to light the fire.

Watched Seattle today... Burakovsky was hurt for most of the game but the Islanders were in complete control. Horvat is going to be huge for them.

So you're saying that it's something that happens to all teams, even back to back cup winners, and not something to panic over?

no am saying that Leafs under dubas are an abject failure and that such losses just shows that team has no pride because they are behaving like a team that have deep playoff runs or cup wins; but they can't even get out of 1st round

They need to blow it up. They can't win with that roster without 5 big trades. Too weak.

Am I doing this right?
For TB, it is more like they can’t win AGAIN with that roster.

Otherwise, it is spot on, lol.

In the NBA you trade picks and prospects for super stars, in the NHL you trade them for a 2nd pairing d or a 3c.

Its honestly crazy how less exciting player movement is in the NHL compared to the other major NA sports. The NHL isn't even in the same realm as them.
