A D group comprised of castoffs like Barrie, Keith, Ceci, etc. and forward depth that features Ryan, Kassian, Shore, Perlini, etc. is puke worthy. That only passes in the Pacific.

Then there’s the goaltending……

Their schedule has been a joke so far. They've played zero elite teams save for Vegas who are missing literally all their best players, and have played a bunch of bottom feeder teams.

Their division is pathetic so I expect them to still be a competitive playoff team, but they will definitely level off as they play the rest of the league.

Until then, I urge Leaf fans to maintain thick skin and not take bait on stupid comments and threads about how Leon is gonna win the rocket, Hyman is now a hall of famer etc etc.

The West is a bit of a tire fire, but I'm taking the Blues and, despite their poor start, Avs over the Oilers.

Vegas needs to get healthy.
