GDT: Around the League - 2021/22 - Playoffs edition

The same GM that moved every mountain to make sure that we protected Justin Holl from the Kraken. At least we got to keep him and Alexander Kerfoot lol what a joke.

Infuriating being a fan of this team led and represented by incompetent morons. It is just not good for sanity and mental health of hardcore leafs fans

Yep, never understood this passing around so much, you can't score if you don't shoot the puck. Teams are too good to simply give you the perfect pass and shot unless you got an odd man rush. Got to shoot and drive the net for those dirty goals in the playoffs. I think Calgary had over 120 shot attempts this game.

The game probably should've been over in regulation, but Dallas did come out flying in OT until the ref called an awful penalty on Seguin. When you're letting everything go, something as minor as that shouldn't be called.

Flames dominated OT for the most part, but Dallas had a few really high danger chances that Markstrom answered. Similar to game 6 OT in our series, but backup Jack folded on one decent chance.

A true #1 goalie

Only thing I want to see more than the Battle of Alberta is the Battle of Ontario again. That was probably one of the best rivalries ever back in the day. The teams and fans were so into it and hate between fanbases at the time was off the charts. Really hope we can get that back someday. :)

Thats the mindset that the coach instills in their players. Sutter is not a cream puff. Guy is a winner and does not have a loser attitude. I am sure Sutter won't be talking about getting "respect" during the handshakes.

wasn't that good because we always won haha. but yeah, those were the days and crazy that Jason spezza was apart of it and now he's on our team.

I think Rielly played well, but he plays d and made opportune pinches for his goals, and scored a beauty 4-on-4 in game 5, scored a great goal in game 7 as well...in general, playoff games are tight, and in a game 7, good teams don't let you breathe...can't be looking for perfect plays and passes in those types of games.

I'd rather leafs not make the playoffs than lose to ottawa inthe 1st round
