Florida’s been coming back all year so no surprise.

Looking like they’ll break their series losing slump.

And the Pens losing Crosby stung. Might be it for them too.

Thought Washington and Pittsburgh had a chance
 
Hope Sid is feeling better in the coming days. That was scary to see.

Florida takes series lead with a 21-22 'identity' win by coming back something they are excellent at.

Verhaeghe has been having himself some season and that's good for him. He is one of those late bloomers. There is nothing you can do if they just click on another team, especially since Leafs aren't the only team to miss out on his big season. He was given a shot but obviously didn't impress at the time.

Kudos to him for figuring it out.

Trouba with a head shot on Crosby. Of course something like that happens when Trouba is around. So dirty.

Same, the Flames are the only other Canadian team that you can enjoy. Their fans don't seem to share the same inferiority complex as Ottawa, Vancouver and Winnipeg. They also have a higher IQ than Montreal fans.

Flames have such an unlikeable team. Way too many dirty players, led by Andersson. And all you have to do is read a few threads on CalgaryPuck to know how low their IQ is

i hope the Stars hold on here and clinch at home
 
Credit to Bowness for the line shuffling and a tweak in the forecheck. They were all pretty bad in game 4 but have created way more quality chances than the Flames, and it seems to have revived an important player in Hintz.

Flames have absolutely nothing going for them 5 on 5
 
Definitely don't miss Greg Millen doing colour commentary for Leaf games, he's awful.

I like the Flames, but this game has been kinda painful to watch. Their PP gives me flashbacks to the Leafs last season, when they had awful special teams.
 
McDavid will never be on Matthews level. You see his defence last night on Kempe's OT goal. Zero effort, just gave up and let Kempe walk in for the goal.

I haven't seen this guy play any D in years.
 
Can you imagine the media here if Seguin, Benn, Radulov played for the Leafs!! it would be carnage!!!
 
All the stuff they let go at 1-1... but at 2-1, oh, that is a penalty lol. This league and their game management is embarassing sometimes.
 
Some series are awesome and some can be prescribed for insomnia.

Only Colorado and St. Louis out west would worry me against the Leafs. Shutting down Johnny Regular Season and Tkachuk doesn’t seem to be an issue and they’d muck everyone else in 4-5.
