I wouldn't sleep on the Kings. Flames haven't shown much in this series and the Kings can actually spend extended time in the offensive zone, unlike the Stars

Flames and Oilers fans have an unusual obsession with each other. Both around the league threads (CalgaryPuck and HFOilers) are good for many laughs and question marks when the other team is playing. I think some of them cheer harder for their rivals to lose than their own team to win.

Reality is if anyone from the East wins, there is a good chance they will have had the toughest path of any team to ever win the Cup.

Flames and Oilers fans have an unusual obsession with each other. Both around the league threads (CalgaryPuck and HFOilers) are good for many laughs and question marks when the other team is playing. I think some of them cheer harder for their rivals to lose than their own team to win.

Obviously neither team has finished things (especially Toronto) and Edmonton can easily win games 6-7, but reading their around the league thread you would think that Edmonton is the one winning their series.

There is zero argument for it, and it's embarrassing that he got votes. So many deserving players out there that don't have his offensive talent but need to work harder just to stay afloat in the league. Had to be 2 Edmonton homers, this can only be greifing.

I appreciate that we need to get out of round one, but the dream scenario for me, was winning round one, playing and beating the Capitals in round 2, then beating the Bruins in the Eastern Conference finals. Not because these are easier teams, but to beat all the demons in one season.

Probably because he PKs. Not saying I agree with it, but I can see some people making an argument that because he's as good as he is offensively and he plays PK and is a center he's deserving of it.
