But yes their inferiority complex is real. Although I have to admit if I gaze deep into my navel (hard to do at my age btw), I fear I may be one of those too. I make cracks about McDavid knowing full well he is very very good. Drai seems like a whiny sorehead that gets in a huff alot when things don't go well so easy to pick on. It's not that I don't want them to win anything, I just don't want to see most of their smug arrogant fans enjoy nice things.

They're both absolutely excellent players, but I don't think they're absolutely likeable players even looking past the shadow of Oilers fans. Draisaitl is just such a pissy bitch when they're losing and I can't look past the nut shots. Like seriously, who the f*** does that? Honestly, you're a grown ass man whacking other guys in the balls, the f*** is wrong with you. And McDavid, as much as I don't blame him, has just the worst body language out there. I get the impression that while he plays the classic neatly pressed consummate professional, he's much closer to the guy screaming "f***" walking down the tunnel from his Erie Otter days. I think he thinks he's the best player on the planet, which he is, and everything is everyone else's fault, which it probably is. But that doesn't make him particularly likeable.

Oilers lack depth, goaltending, discipline, and even offense and competent coaching. They made it in because The Jets locker room is an absolute shitshow of harrassment and bullying, and Vegas burned out in hilarious fashion.

Well said, I think that's exactly why I don't particularly like them, especially Drai. You're right, they are just not very likeable.

I remember seeing something a few years back. I believe it was something about Matthews and McDavid doing some training together. Someone had mentioned that Marner knows McDavid and they didn't get along, Marner can't stand him. I honestly can't remember where I saw that, or how true it is. But I would think personalities definitely matter... your teammates have to be somewhat likeable. Not that Marners opinion is the right one, but from past Leaf articles he seems to be a guy alot of his teammates like so I found it interesting.
Also it's easy to make them all less likeable the minute they signed Kane, who by all accounts p*sses teammates off wherever he goes. That locker room must be alotta fun.

Both Tampa and Toronto would absolutely wreck either of these teams. Compared to our games, this game is being played in slow-mo. We have to win this series.

Rangers-Pens game is clearly drunk. Went from 0 to about 1000 in 3 mins.
 
Capitals need to continue to apply pressure. Florida has the offense to come back

Mantha should be a lot better than he is with his tools
 
Florida has an insane amount of come backs this year. I wouldn't count them out anyway.

And they just scored 1.
