Let's not put too much stock into what round somebody lost in then. And for the record, I was replying to somebody who was putting stock into who Colorado had previously lost to.

Leafs have lost to the Stanley Cup finalist in 3 of Dubas' 4 years.

2.) the coach specifically said he went through the leafs series blue print and used it to make adjustments and come up with his plan. He credited the leafs for figuring out how to get to tampa.

3.) tampa isn’t dead yet. This happens every time. People make reactionary decisions.

There is a loooong way to go. Colorado has done a phenomenal job so far. And good for them. But we will see how it ends up.

How are you measuring that last sentence?

Not writing Tampa off but it won't be long if the Avs take it to them again tonight and Cooper can't make the right adjustments.

He’s not wrong. There is no evidence that mackinnon took a discount at the time of his contract.

He was in literal therapy (and good for him) because he thought he was a bust. He took gauranteed money. He he guy clearly outperformed his contract.

Heck matthews has clearly out performed his contract. But neither were underpayments at the time.
