Worse are the shitty vegas fans on twitter twisting themselves into pretzels to justify it from LV perspective. Like how bad is your stockholm syndrome when you're siding with shit show that is asking players to delay surgeries just to circumvent the cap.

At first it seemed like players really wanted to go to Vegas because it was the underdog that went to the finals. New exciting team that was playing fast and winning hockey in a unique city. Now it seems like one of the worse locations. The management treats players badly and the team has cap issues that could prevent Vegas from being successful.

No one should ever willingly go to Vegas as long as this management team is there. How they treat their players is pathetic. The players are just entries on a spreadsheet to them. Why sign with them when you’ll be out the door as soon as a shiny new toy becomes available?

Not defending Vegas at all, but from a philosophical standpoint you have to find the right balance. To your point, Vegas is an extreme example of one end of the spectrum while you have other teams that tend to be overtly loyal to the player even if it's detrimental to the performance of the team.

I don't agree with how Vegas treats their players, but there's something to be said about their all-business approach even though I think it's probably short-sighted. Most teams trend to the other end of the spectrum and as we've seen, it winds up costing them. We might soon see the consequences from how Vegas treats their players.

LOL
Article is a little over the top ha but this part is dead on and exactly what I posted earlier, and have been saying for 2 seasons.:

Though that might have been less of a problem if they hadn’t eroded their depth in their pursuit of whatever the newest, shiniest thing came on the market that week (Max Pacioretty, Mark Stone, Alex Pietrangelo, Jack Eichel, etc.).

incredible goal scorer. too bad he sucks as a person and plays for the leafs
At least he ain't best friends with Putin and stood by him during Crimea annexation.
I dislike Ovi more.
It's not like Matthews was accused of rape like Patrick Kane or the stuff the whole Hawks teams turned a blind eye to. It's not like he's Evander Kane either.

Shame that the Stars couldn't do it in regulation.

Can someone smarter than me explain how Vegas hasn't been officially eliminated yet? Stars have 95 points and Vegas has 91. Both have 2 games left, but even if Dallas loses both in regulation and Vegas wins both in regulation the Stars still have the tiebreaker over Vegas because they would have more ROW - 45 > 44.

I know I'm missing something here. Just don't know what...

They recently changed the first tiebreaker. Instead of ROW, it's now just regulation wins (RW).

EDIT: I also just realized you were counting wins, not ROW.

Buh Bye Vegas! Lol.
