Yea, he's gonna have to take a good hard look and make some changes. Getting support for MacD and also some veteran leadership.
Naming the right coach is the first place to start . There's been a rumor for a couple months that Tippett misses coaching. If that is true, he'd be a good fit. Give them the
defensive presence they need.

Agree - doubtful EDM will have the Russian & Swedish pipelines like DET did. But then again, he has 5 years to build a winning infrastructure, if not, he just made $25M.

Correct me if I am wrong but, did he not hand out sweetheart long term deals to bottom 6 pluggers like Abdelkader, Helm and Glendenning?

Look at the Cap situation he left the Wings in. I wouldn't say it is ideal. To me, he's a dinosaur and the game and how he manages a roster has passed him by.

Here's to hoping the Oilers continue the suck. Got to think McDavid gives it another year or two and if the results don't improve, he makes noise and looks to get out of there.

No need for him to waste away in that situation.

All the rumored big money under the table deals that have been going on for about the last 15 years in the OHL (mostly with London, Kitchener and Windsor) and this team gets busted for not paying some kid the 40k they promised him for room & board. They aren’t doing it right.

Offsides were on, it's just the CPU had no idea how to deal with losing the face off at center ice and having a winger come down the right side and either cut in and score or cross-ice to whoever I had on the other side for the goal. (And yes I get the reference)

Not a fan of either, esp Therrien. That completes the hattrick for me. So disappointed. And Fletcher saying they think they can win 'sooner rather than later' gives me a bad feeling. Hopefully that's not a page out of the Clarke/Homer (who Fletcher worked for early in his career) book of trading the youth for that 'vet player'
