It’s good to know history. I have a BA in history. We live in a country that grants us freedom. A statue isn’t a history lesson. It’s an honor and symbol. I’m very white and have lived a privileged existence. I try to put myself in the shoes of others. I do believe it is damn time to try and correct some of history’s wrongs. Are people flawed, yes. Racism should not be tolerated. Statues honoring racist should not be defended. Seems to me that it is mostly white people doing so.

Not a BA, but as a fellow History major, I greatly disagree with that. History is important to view in the lens of the time it happened not with a modern eye. Erasing the past from existence because we are uncomfortable with its content only does us all a disservice. The whole point is to grow and learn from these things.

Went to college for a total elapsed time of eight years but took some semesters off. Wound up with an AA and then a BA in Journalism with an emphasis on Public Relations.

So, basically the same.
yeah honestly i liked my CC experience a lot more than my university experience, took my time and took the classes i wanted to take rather than what was shoved down my throat.. i guess technically with an AS i'm not a dropout but i did drop out

too bad they refused to let me take my degree-required welding class at cpslo, i probably would've saved myself like $5k and immediately left to get my welding certs then - instead of after toiling for a year in classes i had zero interest in

Thoroughly enjoyed my days at university. Can't remember my major, but it had something to do with numbers and equations.

I thought about getting a teaching credential, but instead I'm apparently doing data support for a software company. Go figure. :D

Any word on Seattle's name?

sorry man but you cant even use the correct form of two, and your talking about teaching?

That reminds me of a great scene from an obscure movie called Brain Donors, back before John Turturro was famous.

Flakfizer: That spells cash with a capital...
Jacques: K!
Flakfizer: You should go back to school
Jacques: I hated teaching!

Interesting if other teams were able to suss out Fox's intentions before the 2016 Draft. I thought he was easily the best D on the USNTDP that year, but he was drafted after Chad Krys and Ryan Lindgren. Feel mildly bad for Carolina, but they had to know the risk when they got him.
