Pulling for Vegas to sweep San Jose. Don't know how likely it is that they retain EK but I got to assume the longer the run the higher the chances he sticks around.

As long as VGK also gets murdered in the next round by just about anyone, I'm all for that.

I want Vegas to have NOTHING. I want them swept. All their fans have experienced is success and have no humility. Last night at staples, the arena was overflowing with Vegas hubris and it made me sick. I was asked if I preferred a SJ or VGK win out of the first round. While a difficult choice, my hatred for the Vegas fan base forces me into an unpleasant desire to see SJ move on.

I want them destroyed. I want them to know that their best opportunity...the closest they will ever come to the cup came last season and they will never return.

Now what I want probably won't happen. Jones has one of the worst save percentages in the league and has not been looking good.

Vegas fans are just Ducks fans wearing fake mustaches, don't let them get to you.

Unfortunately only one of them can be humiliated next round. I'm definitely rooting for both to go down ugly

Hate these teams with a passion. Ducks, Pens, Sharks, Bruins, Canadians. I'm gonna add Flames, St. Louis, and Knights to this list. Do not want any of these teams to ever win a cup in any year. Ducks and Canadians don't have to worry about this year but all the others will be rooting hard against.

Teams I want to win:

Nashville (Get Simmonds his Cup)
Tampa (They deserve it)
Washington (I like Wilson/Ovechkin)

That's 26 MPH....ridiculous speed

McDavid be all...

Columbus Carolina Nashville Tampa Winnipeg, in no particular order. Be good to see Washington advance and nab us another draft pick too.

I would normally root for Boston to win it all, but the Kings benefit more if other teams make the conference finals.

The best Kings pick from Toronto would include a final four of:
- Columbus from Atlantic
- Carolina or Pittsburgh from Metro
- Colorado or Vegas from Pacific
- Dallas, Winnipeg, or St. Louis from Central

So I'll hope Carolina beats Winnipeg. Get Williams another cup and piss off Don Cherry with an over the top celebration.

My Cinderella hopeful is Carolina. Maybe not to win it all, but I’d love to see them make a run to the finals. They should do a celebration if they win a playoff round. Have the whole team do push ups at center ice, one for each win per round they’ve played.

All 4 wildcard teams, Vegas, Pittsburgh, and Boston would have to win their series in order for us to get the #17th pick.

Actually, it doesn't work that way, the order doesn't get set until we know who is in the conference final. If 4 teams who didn't win their divisions and finished below the Leafs in the regular season reach the conference final, the pick could move up as far 20th.

For this to happen, the matchups would have to be WPG/STL/DAL vs VGK/COL and CBJ vs PIT/CAR (fat chance).

In this scenario, 4 teams who finished below the Leafs would pick 28-31 by way of reaching the conference finals, division winners pick 24-27 if they don't reach the conference finals and 23 goes to Boston, 22 to NYI and 21 to SJ.

Anyone but the Flames, Knights or Sharks. After that I couldn't care less who wins. Just not those teams. It just sucks that one of those teams is guaranteed a spot in the conference finals unless Colorado somehow manages to beat the Flames.
