Oilers won so we are back to the 12th overall pick. We just need Vancouver/Arizona/Edmonton to keep winning so we get a chance at a nice Center in the draft.

That should be a long suspension. Absolutely no excuse to swing your stick like that at the head of an opponent.

It’s strange because if anything the Forsberg one looks 100% intentional, whereas the Johansen one you could argue it wasn’t.

The forsberg one looks like he only hits him in the face because schiefle ended up falling, otherwise that looked like your typical slash to the legs.

Johansen one seemed quite deliberate. Not sure how you'd argue it wasn't.

Because Johansen looks like he spun around blindly whereas Forsberg is chopping down while looking straight at him.

Johansen’s was reckless though, for sure.

Interference, then a hold, then a tomahawk. Schiefele's headache might be over by the time CryJo gets to play again.

The fact Hellebuyck was a Vezina finalist over Gibson is laughably bad. You know how Smith for Calgary is good for one bad goal a game (usually the result of him misplaying the puck)? Well, Hellebuyck is good for one bad goal a game due to his rebound control, or complete lack thereof.

His strategy for stopping shots is this: square up, get as big as possible, and hope the puck hits him. He's completely static in the net. As is the case with many other teams, goaltending is Winnipeg's Achilles' heel.
