Oilers lost to the Kings 4-0 and only put up 16 shots on goal (McDavid had 4 of them). I'm excited for them to have the game of their season tomorrow when they face us.
Hopefully they do. The more losses we get the better for the future of the team.

Ducks and Kings are 30th and 31st in the league in goals per game. Pretty crazy

Looking at the ages of players around the league. Couture turns 30 this march.
So the Sharks will have only Hertl, Meier & Kane below 30 after March. Their defense is getting old too.
To start next season Pavelski will be 35.
In a few years that team will be the oldest in the league & even Kane will be 30 in 2.5 years.

Dion Phaneuf has 1 point in 36 games this year. Worse than Bieksa last year & is essentially getting 3rd pair minutes with LA.

He does have this going for him still: actress Elisha Cuthbert from '24' & 'The Ranch' & 'Happy Endings' is his wife. Elisha Cuthbert is one of the hottest women of all time imo, the modern marlyn monroe.

Reaves is quite funny, seems like a good character. A bit overpayed, but he is arguably the best tough guy left in this league. Has already 8 goals this year too (our best goal scorer has 11  )

He better have not played dirty against us in a play I currently don`t remember to just end up and ruin my thoughts of him.

I think Marner and Point have been the 2 most impressive players this season. Not the best, but they've solidified themselves as superstars and I didn't see that coming this early

Watching Vegas-SJ...these are arguably the 2 best teams in the conference I think. Well coached and fast paced

St. Louis gets next year's All Star game. So Anaheim gets passed up yet again. Although it would have been unlikely that CA would get a third straight ASG, it's pretty ridiculous and another slap in the face to Anaheim by the NHL.

STL was due, though, weren't they? If memory serves correctly, they were the franchise with the longest event drought out of all of them, Anaheim follows only second.

I doubt Anaheim is angling for any big event until we see what Samueli does with all the new land he's acquired around Honda Center first.

I can't understand why him and Moreno haven't come together on a plan to develop Anaheim into a more happening place for young adults. Unless the Angels plan to leave soon.

It seems like it would be very beneficial to both franchises

It would be the common sense move for sure. But it seems the last couple of years he's pushed harder than I can recall to move out of Anaheim, guess it's up to him and the city to see if they can find some common ground to stick around first and given how their negotiations in the past have gone...that's going to be ugly haha

Seattle will host a NHL Draft in its first 6 years i saw on another board.
Meanwhile the Ducks gets to host nothing in the past 10+ years.

I’m sure the Samuelis are satisfied with the ginormous expansion check they’ll receive from the Seattle expansion

All while them saying they don't want to pay for a coach thats been fired & hiring a new one.
They also have the money they got from Vegas.

Edmonton is leading 2-1 over Buffalo, we need Edmonton to win for our 1st rounder to move up.
STL is leading over Washington 4-1, that helps us.
Philly is beating Minnesota 5-3 in the 3rd period, that helps us too, NJ winning against Chicago helps us too.

More than anything we need all 3 of Edmonton, Vancouver & St. Louis to win games.
