I think you can fill in just about every trade Edmonton makes and follow it with an animal noise. That Eberle trade in hindsight... woof.

Pirri has 5 goals & 2 assists in 6 games this year as a Center for Vegas.
I read in another thread that he is no longer a 1 trick pony, so there is hope Sprong becomes more than a guy with a nice shot.
Pirri's 1st point last night was a primary assist in setting up Statsny goal & then scores one later in the game.
Good for ovie sitting out the all star game. Bit of a sham anyway.
Wouldn't mind if Gibson also sat out or Getzlaf. Whomever we send.
Is it not still a suspension if you sit the game out and you’re not legitimately injured? (As in, you’re not sitting games out for your team).
Does anyone think the Sharks aren't a contender? I fear this could be their year. If they had a better goalie I think they'd be the best team in the conference by a decent margin
Jones is all that stops me from thinking they’re the favorites in the West. Karlsson is starting to look himself and Burns is going to hit 70+ points again. Vlasic is having a horrible year but he can’t get any worse than he’s already been.
On a completely different note McDavid has factored into 54% of the Oilers goals this season. It’s ridiculous how bad their depth is past their best three forwards.
If Draisaitl played against the Ducks for 82 games a season he might hit 82 goals in a season, that guy tries to show the Ducks up so much as though he's saying "Trade for me, i want to play for a City with a German name".And most believe that Draisaitl can't produce without being attached at the hip to McDavid. They really don't have any depth.
I still have them below Nashville and Winnipeg personally. And if Rittich keeps giving them goaltending, I'd put Calgary above San Jose with Jones. You can win with 'okay' goaltending yes, but Jones can't even give .900 goaltending - there is no way you're going deep in the playoffs with that sort of performance let alone win the whole thing.Does anyone think the Sharks aren't a contender? With scoring way up this year in the league, it benefits players like Pirri where they can make the most of it. Glad to see he's playing very well.It may be the homer in me, but until someone proves otherwise the Knights should be the favorite to come out of the Pacific. They have the best goalie of the team's likely to get in. They've got 2 really dangerous scoring lines, bordering on 3 if Pirri stays with Stastny-Tuch, as well as one of the best 4th lines in the league. The only real question mark is Holden/Engelland and that can easily be addressed with a rental 4/5 D pickup.
They had a slow start because of injuries and Schmidt being suspended, but since he came back they're 16-4-3.
5 forwards and the Kings have to respect Stamkos' one timer so he just fakes it and passes to a guy with a wide open net.TB 5v3 PP is a thing of beauty.

Depends if BM is still the GM next time Anaheim is looking for a coach.I hope that Tortorella is never in consideration to coach this team.
