Some teams should be more aggressive, like the Canes. For all the good moves that were made, their tandem sucks and is losing them games. They should be pursuing a legit starter. Wings were toying with the idea of trading Howard, until during training came, he came to terms with his role (backup) accepted it and now the pair are flourishing and the Wings are in 2nd place.

Halak? good luck, he's making 4.5 for 2 years, not many teams have that room and he's been an injury risk. Dallas should move at least one of theirs but there is the CAP again.
Bishop's gonna go it's just a matter of time.

Senators Craig Anderson's wife was diagnosed with cancer last week. He took a leave of absence and returned last night and shut out the Oilers in a very emotional game for him.

He was named #1 star, and came out to salute the fans, and who is waiting in the wings, cheering him, Oiler's goalie Cam Talbot

They bought Easton earlier this year as well (mentioned in the article). A few folks noticed a few weeks ago that some Easton equipment had the logos removed/covered up during NHL games. Apparently Bauer didn't pay the NHL rights fees for Easton this year which was leading to rumors that Easton might get phased out entirely.

I stopped by a hockey shop a couple weekends ago and had to fight the urge to buy an Easton stick for old time's sake.

I was shocked when I saw that the new Eastons were $299. I tend to buy sticks on clearance anyways. If it was good enough for an NHL player two years ago, it's probably good enough for me today

I'm still bummed that the companies pretty much phased out shaft+blade combos. But I can understand that there's more profit to be had with one piece sticks (and replacing one piece sticks).

I sure as heck don't understand it. Gravel should be up and playing over Greene, however if whomever is coming up is just sitting in the press box I think I would rather it be scuderi anyway

Laine is a stud. I like watching the jets as a whole. That team is fast, young and big. Remember in 2012 when LA was both the youngest team in the league and the biggest? That's the jets this year.
