Would love that...Trouba is gonna be a stud. But the Kings don't have that kind of cash. Him and TT needing new deals, would run 15 M range. And that's not Pearson or the other contracts...not to mention the $$$$ Doughty will require in 2 years.
The Jets are in the drivers seat and can't sit until 11/30 if they want. They have offers just aren't moving on them. I think the Bruins should press hard, and apparently were in serious talks in June but part of the return the Jets wanted was
Charlie McAvoy, who the Bruins won't trade.
The Devils are one of the top candidates as well. Not many teams have the cash that will be needed to keep him
 
Hope the Kings put a claim in Andrighetto. Dynamic offensive player that could help the lack of scoring options on the wings.

Awful deal. Muzzin is proven, cheap and just reaching his prime while Trouba is not as good and will be more expensive. He may never be as good as Muzzin is now.

Oilers are 2-1, but 13 goals against....YIKES. Fast, skilled, no defense, pond hockey. Plus, they are still forcing young players into the lineup who are nowhere near NHL ready (Puljujarvi and Nurse). Same old Edmonton

Plus I would rather ride Budaj and Zatkoff than Pavelic. He ahs been the worst starter the last few years. Even at 50% off, no desire.

As for Trouba for Muzzin. It would have not come with one of Winnipeg's young forwards..Like Lowry. They would never do it, but one for one I wouldn't either.

Doughty's problem is that he waits too long to get it ofF and the defender ends up closing the lane by the time he shoots.

God yeah. It's so impressive, best in the league, even better than Karlsson's. I don't think Doughty has that monstrous of a wrist shot, so he could take a cue from Ek, who just whips it quick and low, nothing flashy.
 
I think Doughty does better when he moves up with the puck and takes a shot rather than trying to thread it from the blue line.
