that mess with ANH goalies to me is the tip of the iceberg. with the money they committed to Baldy and Perry makes me wonder how well they will round out their roster. Hiller is UFA after next season and this shows they are already a bit light on goalies in the system. take Hiller out of the equation and they are now even thinner in net.

Uhhhh....this is so so wrong.

First off, Fasth has been very good this year. Hiller was once a good goalie and still could be IF they want to keep them. Bobkov has tons of potential and John Gibson is a VERY good goalie prospect. They've got better prospect goalies than us and they seem to have found a very solid starter.

Glad to see Dallas showed up, lets see if they can hold a lead.

The Ducks don't have scoring problems.

Hm -- it occurs to me that I might have seen Rob Laurie play in goal in person before -- I caught a WPHL game in Fort Worth many MANY moons ago, and the name sounded familiar, and he DID play for the Brahmas in 97-98 and 00-01... he knocked around the ECHL, WPHL, UHL, and CHL from 1992 through 2002:

I saw him play several times in Anaheim as a Bullfrog

You're forgetting Fredrik Andersen, who is a really really solid young goaltender currently playing in Norfolk...arguably has as much upside as a Gibson, certainly more than Bobkov, IMO, and is further along in development, having a fantastic year in Norfolk...

I think the Ducks are going to have problems moving forward, but in net is NOT one place that they will be struggling for a loooong time.

Sharks are a tough team to read. They play great for stretches; then just completely suck for long periods of time (during games).

The don't seem to have an identity or style. They are not really that fast of a team.

I'm still laughing at them being sellers and then they go on this winning streak and are buyers on deadline day.

I suppose that's fitting of their season

They tend to live and die by their power play. I have not been following them all that closely of late though so I'm not sure if that is the case this time around.

Brian Hayward's commentary is mind-numbing. They've been calling hooking when the stick is up around the hands all season long and he talks tonight like it's baffling to him that something that marginal can be called.

Boy.

Where would the Sharks be without Dan Boyle. He is like their best player.

I think that's kind of sad.

Its been a pretty good game all in all though. Kipper standing on his head tonight.

Hoping that the Flemes get one more before it gets to OT.

GO PHLEM"S GO!!!

I know.

Freaking stupid guppies!!!

Oh well, the Phlems to them to the very end of the game (or close to it). They wouldn't have beaten an NHL team.

To be fair, Calgary is awful and teams in general should win most of their home games.

Kings and Sharks seem to be on a bit of collision course toward the playoffs. Could easily finish 4-5.

There was a play shorthanded when Perry clearly hooked a star chasing down a puck, then the star player got called for interference or something as the play went on. He had no problem pointing that out , yet he complains about the same thing when the call is reversed. The dude is just awful to hear!

Bring them on!! We owe them for ending our season two years ago and it would be fitting for the Kings to slam their window shut

Bryzgalav is terrible. there is no other description for him. I mean he looks like Quick at Quick's worse at all times. He never has a clue. How can Philly keep him on the team?

I would go further and say Cloutier at his worst. The guy just stands there on breakaways and shootout goals and doesn't move to stop the puck. All the time.
