Well poop :( ... don't look now but a hot SHARKS team (have won 6 in a row) just leap frogged us in the standings ... to barrow a line from Steve Martin ... "You slime-eating dogs, you scum-sucking pigs, you sons of a motherless goat!" :rant:

We need to get on another nice little winning streak here ourselves and QUICK ! (pun intended)

Yep, I think so too. The only problem for us is that these guys can't play a little bit to boost their trade value. It will be a stick to beat DL over the head with in the future that he traded or waived some of these kids for hardly anything in return.

Agreed.

Lombardi needs to do a better job of managing the prospects. The way it looks right now, we're going to have another gridlock of dmen like we did before which caused us to waive Hickey. Guys like ND, Roach, Forbort, Gravel, Miller, Ebert etc will all be ready in 2 to 3 years with ND perhaps a little earlier. Lombardi needs to trade some of these guys for forward prospects or even picks.
 
Random but nothing makes me happier than seeing the flyers suck.

Auger and Lee are horse ****. Kerry Fraser was a horrible dip **** in his days too but he's gone now. Sadly there are more bad refs now than good ones.

I'll take the over on the over. Sieve Mason is awful. He'll be out of the league very soon.

If your gonna name Fraser you have to mention "HAVE ANOTHER DOUGHNUT FATBOY" Koharski.

One of the funniest things I have ever seen come from the NHL. What a great NHL moment.

Koharski once said "I hate going to Los Angeles", "its just not a place that should have a hockey team".

He was a jerk who got mugged or claimed to have gotten mugged at the hotel that used to be right next to the forum. That guy was a tool.

Who was the referee in that game about a decade ago vs the Avs at Staples when Andy Murray got pissed of and kicked out and fans started throwing stuff on the ice chanting "bull s***"? Was that Koharski?

Hassenfratz. He's officiated two of the last three Kings games. Funny enough, I don't think he's called many penalties on Kings opponents. The Avs-Kings game got out of hand due to the ridiculous amount of penalties called against the Kings.

Funny story about that game. I gave my friend my tickets because I had to work and that was his and his sons very first hockey game.

Koharski is the first ref I remember as a kid because he always seemed to screw over the Kings.

He sure did. He's almost like one of those comic book bad guys at this point, some sort of bookie man to peewee hockey players "you better be careful or the koharski will send you to the bad boy box" duh duh duhhhhhhhhh.

I am sure I am not the only kings fan who has stories about Koharski at the old forum club. That guy was a real piece of .............. work.
