In his last 59 regular season games, Simone Gagne only has 9 goals.

Hope next year is better for Gagne seems like a nice guy.

Trouba going pro, and I am crying. ****. Wish we coulda gotten two years out of him but oh well. (Michigan fan here).

Was hoping he would have pulled a Trey Burke and given us one more year. But it's hard to pass up life changing money, plus he was simply dominant at the end of the year. He had a better year than any of the d-man taken before him in this years draft, good pick by Winnipeg.

Yeah I was just hoping that he'd give us one more year and take a run at the Hobey and rectifying missing the NCAA tourney. That's going to be an absolute steal pick for them in a few years.

Anders Lee, first career goal in his first career game for the Isles. One thing I love about hockey that is different from other sports is how guys can jump right up from college to the NHL in the same season. I saw this guy play two weeks ago at the Joe for Notre Dame and here he is in the NHL.

Me too.

Being beaten 4-1 by Buffalo right now. I hate NBC too with their clear obvious bias.

So happy that the Pens are losing. Keep it coming Buffalo!!! End the Streak!!!

Whaaaaaaaaaat? :handclap: I turned the channel after the Pens scored!

Engblom irritates the hell out of me also

Thomas Hickey looks great tonight. Out there shutting down massive Dustin Byfufglien who has been moved up front. Playing with Visnovsky and he has been very solid and consistent...

I'm not saying the Kings made the wrong move (Muzzin has been lights out obviously), just thought you guys might like to know how an ex-King prospect is doing...

People tend to harp on the Kings for letting players go who end up enjoying success elsewhere, but we should look at it this way: it's a credit to the scouts and the work they put in that they discovered these players who went on to prove that they could succeed at the NHL level. Gives me more faith in the scouts and the decisions they make.

Good to hear Hickey doing well. He was a 4th overall pick afterall, but had too many injuries when playing in Manchester. Probably why we coudn't get anything for him...

That is exactly the way I see it too.

Our cast offs are not only playing in the NHL but doing really well for their new teams. We went with Muzzin and Hickey got his chance with the Isles and they love him. Last I looked he was +5 and had 3 points. Pretty good numbers considering the team he plays for. I think he has been a steady influence for them. A solid NHL dman and I wish him all the best.

I catch heck from some for the praise that I put on allot of our prospects but it is deserved, especially when the players that we pass on go on to have solid impacts on their new teams.

Futa and co do such a great job.

On the Pens game Murray just got cleanly outskated by Hecht. Hecht just skated right around him and if it weren't for Niskenen Hecht would have been in all alone.

Murray is so slow.
