It's not gonna happen, but just to answer your question, the Ucks could go 0-2-1 and the Kings 3-0-0, creating a tie at 63 points and the Kings have more ROW.

I know. :( Or the Ucks go point-less and we go 2-0-1, creating a tie at 62-points (I edited my previous post. Just makes the Detroit, Oilers, and Avalanche losses hurt even more.

It's disappointing to read fans from other teams boards that Quick is a fluke. I can't help but want to defend him. Buttholes.

That comes from people not even knowing who Quick is.

Quick did not get a 10 year contract for just one good year.

Quick has had three, it's just people don't even know who the guy is.

I bet lots of people don't even know; Quick is the only Goalie in Kings History to have three straight 35 win seasons.

That's how bad goalies have been in LA before Quick.

Well, with the way some people here were talking about him, it's perfectly easy to see why people elsewhere are talking about him like that. Some of the over the top complaining about him not being able to stop everything in the world completely justified their claims, and now they won't go away.

It seems that all year fans from other teams have been trying to discredit the Kings every chance they get.

I disagree. I can tell you Sharks and Blues fans sure as hell don't want to play the Kings in the first round. They'd rather finish 6th and play Vancouver or 7th and get the Ducks.

We want no part of you. I still feel weird, the fact that Sharks and Kings fans really respect the hell out of each other. :)

LOL!!! Hickey is now a +10!!!!!

Another prospect proving our team truly elite at selecting and developing prospects as well as the "he doesn't belong in the NHL" or the "total bust" crowd wrong.

Hickey doing it for the Isles is a great thing for us. Very cool to see.:)

I was watching NYI @ WPG saturday and he hammered Evander Kane with a check along the board. Dude looks comfortable out there, happy for him.

I hope it does well from himself. It's too bad we lost him for nothing. WOuld rather have him than Ellerby. No one knew that Greene was going to miss so much time though.

Well, let's not forget that there wasn't much D before DL came aboard either.

Quick is a great goalie, but he also benefits from the best team defense I've ever seen here.

Can't do anything but be happy for Hickey. Looks like he'll be in the NHL for a long time.

I wish I got to see NYI play more because I love Tavares, too, but I guess since they'll be in the playoffs, we may get to see more airtime!

I just realized all these playoff handshakes are going to be quiet and respectful with no Cryotes there :sarcasm:

Really, though, no playoffs for two of last year's opponents. Short seasons are weird.

With last night's action being so favorable for the Kings (save for the Ducks winning, but that Pacific Division ship sailed long ago), the Kings can finish no lower than 6th and no higher than 4th. It literally is all about home ice and our opponent will likely be one of either St. Louis, Vancouver or San Jose.

Vancouver is a big long shot. Minn would have to win out and they would have to lose out.
