If the Leafs get knocked out again it'll be interesting to see if Marner or Nylander are traded. Matthews ain't leaving, and I can't see many takers for Tavares.

Well looks like I’m going from Leafs as my 1A and Kings as my 1B to Kings as my 1 and only. Leafs are filled with losers from top to bottom.

Friedman just said Seth Jones informed the Blue Jackets that he'll be testing free agency in between periods on the Leafs-Habs broadcast. I'm thinking a fire sale is incoming this season on Werenski, Jones, and Laine.

Craig Button has a story about trading a star player that didn’t get along with the coach. Then he canned the coach in the offseason. He lost on both ends. The PLD trade was horrible when it went down and is shockingly even worse now. Torts is the only reason Columbus has ever done shit, but he has a shelf life and now you have neither. Terrible management. You either need to be contending or reloading with a path to contending. Last I checked they had the WORST prospect pool in the NHL and their current NHL roster will probably be bottom 5 next year. LOOOOLUMBUS!

Sell both Jones and Werenski. Pick up a treasure trove of assets. Sell Laine...get a smaller amount of assets. Manage to secure Wright next year. Could really be a quick turnaround.

Should have fired Torts a year ago. But isn’t that the same with most coaches? ‘Should have been fired a year ago’.

Another star player wants out, (Duchene, PLD, Dzingel) what exactly is wrong there that they lose so much talent? And even some of the decisions aren't good. They got nothing for Panarin. You have to think they won't make that mistake twice. And Werenski's contract is also up and although his situation is different, as an RFA, you have to wonder if he'll want to stay. Losing both would be a large obstacle to overcome.

Maybe having JD back in the fold will help.

If Jones wants out, they'd be smart to take calls and get the most assets they can.

Of all the small market teams, Columbus is the worst city to live in if you’re a millionaire. No major airport, the metro population is barely 2 million people. Unless you’re a person who loves a rural lifestyle there are 31 other cities which blow it away. And the state university is the only industry to speak of, so it’s not like there is any base of money to attract high end businesses.

Don’t let anyone from Ohio see this or they’ll invoke a victim complex that’s almost as big as the Coyotes.

My wife grew up outside of Dayton during her high school years. I refuse to go anytime it’s mentioned.

Out of all of my friends who have come to LA to be in the film industry (Chicago, NY, Ohio, etc.) all of them travel back home to visit family and still consider moving back to their hometowns one day... except for friends from Ohio.

Literally out of the 30-40 I know from Ohio NONE of them want anything to do with Ohio.

I always wondered why they have a professional HOCKEY team in OHIO of all places. Is hockey even that popular in that state? I know Ohio State has a hockey team but maybe the Jackets need to relocate to Quebec. I bet they would die to have the Nordiques back just like the Jets and Winnipeg.
