Well atleast Kovalchuk gives the Kings a winger who is as skilled as Rackell. Been awhile since we had that. Lets see how Ilya's body treats him.

I find it funny the Oilers played an exhibition match on opening night of the NHL season.

One of the bad thing about having super loaded players is that they tend to over think plays among similar players instead of leading the charge.

Considering the Burns and Karlsson pairing. I can't imagine the amount of goals conceded.

Saw a Karlsson/Vlasic pairing earlier in the game.

I still think having Karlsson/Burns together in the final 5-6 minutes of a game they are a down a goal or 2 is going provide way more positives than negatives over the 82. I don't think they should be playing together at ES other than that situation though.
