If the Oilers can beat the Canucks, the Kings have a chance decide if there's an Edmonton/Calgary 1st round series.

And an Anaheim/SJ series. I want to see one of them out in the first round. It will be interesting to see if Carlyle sits anyone tomorrow.

Calgary will be the one team in the playoffs with a negative W/L ratio in regulation. The East will have 9, maybe 10 teams with more wins than losses in regulation. Depends if Tampa can get out of bed today after their season ended last night.

Quite the opposite. He was directly responsible for hiring Brendan Shanahan to be the Leafs President. Everything fell into place from that hire. I'll go further and say he's also responsible for the success the Raptors and TFC have been enjoying lately.

Tallon is hired as the GM, Rowe 'special advisor'...boy did Viola and Rowe screw up badly in all of this. Can a good GM who did a great job, got a great coach who got the team to the playoffs and fired both of them, put Rowe in charge who failed badly. They lose a whole year....

Bob McKenzie said this morning that Tallon is 'actively' seeking a coach.
It's a shame he has do this again since he hired a good coach already

There's a lot of bad blood betweent the BJ's and Pens, should be a
very colorful series. And historically, Dubinsky drives Crosby nuts.


Can't wait to see McDavid in superdrive. He's so fast and smart, not many players , if any , in the NHL today strikes so much fear in the hearts of defensemen, when he's racing over the blueline, they just don't know how to play him.
