TSN and NESN both saying that the Bruins and Wild have been 'in talks' for some time. WIld have too many D and BRuins need that. BRodin is the d in the talks and Bruins might offer up their 1st round pick.

Some minor rumblings about Eberle for Hamonic...be a nice fit for Tavares while he's still there.

If I were the B's, I'd do that in a heartbeat. Brodin is a quality player on the backend and has a pretty nice deal at 4 years left for just over $4 million.

Bruins also have McAvoy coming. Looking forward to seeing him in Boston next year.

I have never been a big Eberle guy but I am sure that would give JT a nice boost. I think Tavares eventually signs an extension to stay on the Island.

He's the real deal, was very impressed by how good he played in the playoffs. And I agree on Brodin, good young d with good paper, which is why I think the Bruins are actively pursuing. Ryan Spooner was also mentioned.

Not sure JT stays, unless Garth Snow is removed. Not a great GM and that team isn't close to contending. I think JT and his agent know how valuable he is and how many teams that are contenders, more so, he'll listen. But I know he wants to stay loyal to the fans who supported him, so maybe if Snow (or whoever the GM is) finally wakes up and puts the right pieces in place...
(And not even talking to Okposo or his agent...stupid...)

Someone needs to remind Rinne you have to stop pucks on the road to win. He's a hot mess and looks shakey. 3-0 after 1 period.

Some guy spent a few hundred bucks to throw a Catfish on the ice to start the game. Not sure if he got to watch the puck drop before being thrown out.

That was roughing for bumping the goale? Yet Sid can push Subban head to the ice a bunch of times and just get a holding call.

Goal of death for Pittsburgh. Teams are winless in the playoffs the game after winning by 6+.

Man, not going to lie, I though Pittsburgh was done.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the Preds blew them out at home in return because that's just what this series has been.

This two days off **** is stupid.

They set the schedule before they knew both teams and if Anaheim was in that extra travel day is good. This is also the first year in a while there's been no conflict with the NBA playoffs. Which even with theses home blowouts has given good ratings.

Doesn't get much further apart than LA and NJ. Maybe one game I get, but three straight games three days apart? Dumb.

Had to schedule around the NBA who has 2 days off also. Except the NBA will probably end tomorrow.

Had to? Is the casual fan really the deciding factor? Bet 80% of people who would otherwise watch the NBA wouldn't even think to turn on an NHL hockey game.

They are all travel games. And I think we all know the network has a lot of say in the days. And they've learned that it doesn't hurt overall ratings to have the extra days. And in theory should give us better hockey. Even if it hasn't really worked that way this year.
