I will just break out the popcorn and wait and see. I don't follow chicago beat writers so I have no idea of the reliability of zawaski. Not sure why toronto will do it either. Their contender window is in a couple years not now. Then seabrook's contract will be an anchor.

according to this:

https://blackhawkup.com/2017/06/10/chicago-blackhawks-trade-rumors-buzzing/

He's 'spot on ' with trade rumors.

The author ruled out untouchables and players with NMC's who've not asked to waive

He theorizes it's Panarin. ANd he shot down Seabrook to Toronto (which makes no sense)

Scott Powers has tweeted out today that both Brent Seabrook and Artem Anisimov haven’t been asked to waive their no trade clause yet.

The Three Core players of Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, and Duncan Keith all seem to be untouchable which really leaves us one player to be traded right now if nobody has waived their no trade clause, and that’s Artemi Panarin.

Most of the trade rumors have him going to Toronto, but I if you read all the accounts it could be Panarin on his way out of Chicago.

thanks dee!

Panarin?! Yikes. He's a 30 goal scorer. Definitely hurts them in the short run.

He's a very talented forward, and that's the problem. I think Bowman (who I just found out on the "names on the cup ' NHL video was named after the Stanley cup) knows he won't have the $$$ to sign Panarin next summer, that bridge deal was to try to get another Cup in that 2 yr frame.
So if you're him, and you can trade him and get something , high draft pick to start, as part of a package, I guess you do that.

I think they'll find a way to get under the cap with out moving Panarin. Word is they've already traded Kruger. (Yet to be confirmed)

They could save a couple million by moving Panik who doesn't have a NTC/NMC.

I'm curious to see what happens with Hossa. Starting next season, his actual salary is only 1M per year. Does he really want to play making that kind of money? He's had some serious injuries in his career. Seems kind of risky to keep playing for a relatively small amount like that.

Sounds like something he'd do. Did that with Saad after all.

And they're not better off after that trade. They got cheaper, but older, then traded Dano for Ladd, and then Ladd walked. Ended up with nothing for Sharp too. Gave Seabrook the bad contract. Gave Kane and Toews the bad contracts. Lombardi wasn't the only one flying too close to the sun I guess. Bowman does still have his job though. 3 playoff wins in the two years after their last Cup, so doing better than the Kings did.

Nashville rolls out a big gun for the last anthem of the season in Faith Hill.

I have a feeling this going to be an overtime game, and Nashville is going to get their heart broken.

As you guys know from GDT's, I hate when people blame the officials, but this series has been an embarrassment for the NHL.

Obviously nothing like the Kings/Lakers series, which was the most shameful display of officiating I have ever witnessed, but for the NHL this is really bad.

Agree. Starting with the 1st minute, Preds player chasing the puck, Pens player leaves his lane a basically interferes from the blueline in. From there I knew it wasn;t be a pretty game for either team when it comes to calls.

And sorry Keith Jones, Sheary trip was a penalty, quit whining about the Pens not getting the breaks.

The Preds screwed themselves with their horrendous PP and blown chances. Took a fortunate bounce for Pittsburgh, but sometimes that's all it takes.

Hagelin with the dagger.
