whatever GM's are saying the shootout should be changed so the same guys can shoot multiple times after the first three need to look at last night. I hate the shootout but the long shootouts always intrigue me. This is a team game and I like when more players are needed from each team. Hell if anything they should expand it to 5 shooters.

I agree it is stupid that they are just Vegas and not Las Vegas. I actually like their logo...other than the same homeplate style shield the kings are using behind the knight. I hate the shield for LA and think the LV logo would look better without it as well.

What's funny is that 5-6 years ago, I was thinking it would be cool to put an expansion team in Vegas and SPECIFICALLY call that team "The Vegas Knights"...... LoL, my wish didn't entirely come true, as the whole idea was that I'd be the owner/creator of that franchise (You see, I'm a Stock Market speculator and, believe me, the money is out there..... if you know where to look for it ;)). Oh well, at least those guys got the name right, yes? :nod:
 
not feeling Golden Knights but I agree everyone will call them the Knights.

I like the logo.
 
Should've just called the team Nights, but whatever.

They jacked our shield logo in a way. Time to go back to the classic crown with a different color scheme.

Think there was an issue getting a copyright for the name.
And from things I remember hearing London wouldn't budge on permission to use.

I hate the homeplate and would love it if we went back to a crown. That said I get pissed when it gets jacked. Here is especially bad when you compare to the 50th anniversary crest. Florida is close.

They can both have it...BRING BACK THE CROWN!!

Not a huge fan of the name, but I agree with those saying it should be Las Vegas Golden Knights. For the official name, I think you should go with the official name of the city. Then let everyone shorthand it to Vegas when they talk about it. Just like we wouldn't call the official name of the Kings the LA Kings, but we use that as the shorthand all the time.

...also I'm angry now that my username has their team name in it :rant:

There is no way they trade hossa. Wouldn't the recapture penalty kill them if he doesn't like the place and he retires?

They won't lose breadman, but they do have to make a move. Like make a deal with Vegas to take Kruger.

The teams can only protect so many players. These players can not be left unprotected. For example if Brown had a no movement clause, he would be on the list and the Kings would have to protect him. Dashing the dreams of many Kings fans that the VGK could draft him.
