Bylsma is an awful coach. You pull your goalie after he gives up a perfect shot by Mathews that makes it 3-2? Lenner has every right to be pissed.

They had a two goal lead. It was about trying to stop Toronto's momentum. I think a time out would have been better but now those are all saved in case of challenge. So this was a suitable option. Lenner had every right to be pissed but he should not have made it public like that.

At the end of the day if I am a Buffalo fan I want my #1 being pissed off that he is getting pulled. I also want my Coach to try everything at his disposal to turn the momentum. Not a big deal as far as I am concerned.

I must have seen a different goal on "on the fly" because it looked like the goal that made Bylsma pull him was soft.

Was the goal a shot from the goal line, maybe 20 ft away from the post, and the goalie was kneeling...? and the shot went thru his skates? That's the goal I thought they pulled him for. That was a weak goal.

nope the goal he was pulled on was after Mathews shelved it I believe.

#Isles News: Jack Capuano has been relieved of his duties as Head Coach. Assistant GM Doug Weight will serve as interim Head Coach.

22nd coach fired since 2014, not the firmest of jobs.

NYI and LV both requesting to interview Gallant. Who is he's smart will avoid Long Island, that whole situation is a mess, crappy GM, owners who don't care and throw their players in a rink they don't own with bad (non NHL approved) ice which isn't getting fixed and also 50 miles from where the players live. Unhappy group since the move and I'll bet Papa Lou throws John Tavares a big offer to sign there. Rumbings of that rumor started when they didn't get STamkos. Tavares and Matthews down the middle would be very solid for them for years.

Sounds like Couture is out of San Jose's lineup tonight. He always brings it against LA.

I would pass on both Perreault and Vanek

Kings really just need to focus on getting healthy and maybe dumping a bad contract if a good opportunity presents itself(highly doubtful). Otherwise, I'd rather they be quiet at the deadline with the expansion draft on the horizon.

More likely TBL Pro scout team stayed in So Cal after team rolled through. 2 #CBJ scouts listed tonight of more interest.

I am good with this approach. Honestly am good with anything other than overpaying for rentals.

Boston in a similar situation as the Kings. A lot of big contracts, and on the playoff bubble. It's impressive what Chicago has been able to do, but they're in a more vulnerable position today than in years past too. All 3 of those teams sort of eclipsed Pittsburgh after 2008 and 2009 for a while, but now Pittsburgh is back to where everyone thought they would be after 2009.

Boston is in worse shape IMO. The Patrinak and Spooner are going to get bigger increases than Toffoli and Pearson. Not saying they will make more but that their increase will be more.
